Day wel spent - My nephew and I recently took this trip with our guide Mathias. He is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend. The downsides, I did feel like the Spansh interpreter had control of the conversation more than our interpreter. That could be our guide beibg more kind to his elder, but we also paid to understand everything. Mathais can be a bit of a speed walker. So you may need to ask him to slow down, now it was 95 degrees the day we toured he may have been just trying to get us from shade to more shade. But there were times where we were surprised by the speed we were walking. Despite my comments, we would tour this again with the same guide, he presented very knowledgeable and offered to provide greater details privately on more sensative topics. Please be aware Mathias has a sense of humor that may not translate the best in English, but he is funny when appropriate.

This tour is a must !! - Our guide, Walid, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making the entire experience unforgettable. The tour exceeded our expectations — from the city bus tour of Berlin to the deeply moving visit to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and the beautiful sights of Potsdam. Each stop was well-organized and rich in history. Highly recommended!

A unique blend of evil tragedy and opulent beauty all narrated by Walid a knowledgeable friendly and proffesional guide. - This was a brilliant tour. As per the instructions we met up by the fountain near the Parkinn hotel in Alexander Platz. The tour started driving out through northern Berlin with Narrations by the British Guide Walid and a Spanish guide talking to the Spanish group in turn. Walid was extremely knowledgeable he was very friendly and was both reverent and humerous at the appropriate times. As we drove to Orengianberg Walid gave a potted history of the 4 phases of Sachsenhausen's history. On arrival at the camp we split up from the Spanish group, Walid took us to the main headquarters of all concentration camps. Before walking by the SS training barracks and touring the camp itself. All in all this part of the day was about 3 hours but was flat and there were opportunities for comfort breaks. We then drove to SansSoucci Palace garden at Potsdam. This was a light hearted and enjoyable tour which was mostly flat except the steps down in the garden, where there is also a sloped ramp. The tour culminared in Potsdam where we were given an hour to have a meal, explore the local shops or the Dutch quarter on foot which I would reccomend. Top tip take a picnic so you have time to visit the Dutch Quarter. After getting back on the coach we drove via the bridge of spies, check point bravo and Germany's first motor racing track. Again we had a potted history of the soutern approaches to Berlin and all the the way back to Alexanderplatz. The whole tour was just over 7 hours and was well woth the money. Once again thank you Walid for an excellent day.

Tough but enjoyable - Walid was brilliant! - We really enjoyed this tour and the variety in visits. Starting with the sad and difficult part of history and then ending with a lovely visit to a palace and gardens. Walid was an excellent guide - very informative and a great easy going style.

Too exhausting - There were two tours together, in Spanish and English. The guide went too fast and his explanations were not always clear

Terrible experience! Luckily, a good guide eventually helped salvage part of it. - Terrible experience! Luckily, a good guide eventually helped salvage part of it. The experience started in complete chaos. Upon arriving at the fountain meeting point around 9:20 AM, it was unclear that several different tours departed from the same location – both bus tours and guided metro/train tours to the camp. I approached a small woman with short dark hair who appeared extremely disorganized and abrupt. She didn’t see my name on her list and asked for my ticket. After showing it, she told me to follow the group. We went to the metro and then the train. Along the way, people were joking that the woman was giving us the "real German experience" due to her attitude. After chatting with a few others, I realized this tour was much shorter than I had booked. When I asked the woman, she bluntly told me I was in the wrong group and should just wait at the reception of the camp for the correct one. She gave me a phone number and walked away. I couldn't reach the guide by phone, so I called the travel agency. They unhelpfully told me to just “look for the guide” at the site myself. At that point, I was overwhelmed – alone in an unfamiliar place with no instructions. After multiple calls, I finally reached the correct guide, who was thankfully very kind and understanding. He gave me a brief summary of what I had missed and helped me rejoin the proper group. Unfortunately, I had already missed a significant portion of the tour. To make things worse, I later found out the exact same thing had happened the day before to a couple from the U.S. Clearly, there is a major flaw in how the company organizes and tracks guests at the starting point. There is no proper check-in process, no clear signage, and the first guide does not represent the company well at all. Thankfully, the second guide was excellent and helped turn things around, but this was a deeply stressful and unprofessional experience. I sincerely hope the company takes responsibility and offers appropriate compensation.

Only use this company if you are Spanish - As we booked an English tour and most of the time on the bus there was only Spanish spoken by the Spanish guide we felt completely ripped off. We were not told we would be sharing the tour with a Spanish group. And our country that would be deemed misrepresentation and totally illegal. The so-called Berlin city tour part was mostly in Spanish which really was a waste of time. Worse, the Spanish guide was talking so often on the bus we weren’t allowed to have any time to talk to each other. I would agree with other reviews that 70% of the time on the bus was in Spanish and only about 30% was in English and often only describing things we’d already gone long past. We feel completely ripped off. If you are Spanish, go for it, but if you’re not consider another Tour with a different company. One would think the bus might have had clean windows and the trays would be clean but no such luck.

Nightmare beware. Confirm with your guide has you on their list! - Worst experience in my life. The first time we got a tour, the tour guide did not check our tickets. She insisted we were on the right tour. So we thought all was good. When we got to the camp we lost her. We booked it a second time and the new guide Walid was fantastic! Roshana tried to make it right. But we lost a whole day of our travels. I was so furious. What a nightmare. The guides should check and make sure you were on the right tour. She never checked the list! On top of all this the tour said we needed to buy an ABC transit ticket which we never used because the tour did not use the transit system. That cost us 100 Euros because the instructions on the description said we needed one. We bought one the first day and we did use the system but if we were on the right tour we would not have needed this using transit as part of a tour is crazy because so much can go wrong. I would like to be compensated for my lost travel day plus the transit tickets we purchased. Trip Advisor needs to make this right.!!!
