Most memorable experience - We had the absolute best experience! Everyone was very friendly. We weren’t able to catch anything but did get a marlin bite! (Which was extremely cool even though it broke free) we definitely will be planning another trip to the Big Island to plan another fishing trip!

Don’t - Terrible crew, zero interaction, zero attempt to do anything other than sit upstairs ignoring us. We cut our trip short because we just wanted to get off of the boat. We told them we were sea sick. But really we wanted to go back to the dock and get out of there

Waste of time and money - Of course the water was beautiful and the weather was amazing but unfortunately this boat was unacceptable. The exhaust fumes were so awful we all got sick. It definitely was not sea sickness, we have been out on many charters. Captain Andy was more concerned that we tip his first mate than anything else despite the fact that we had to cut our trip 2 hours early after 2 hours with zero bites and no change to the bait rigging or speed. Common things to do when fish aren’t biting-you change it up but this is just a tourist trap. They take your money and then go up to and ignore you and leave you in the bottom with nothing to do but suck up bad exhaust and never touch a pole. This was supposed to be the grand finale of our week here in Hawaii but it was very disappointing. I would recommend renting your own boat or finding a captain who uses live bait and is willing to alter fishing methods not just speed around in poisonous fumes for hours knowing they get paid regardless of your experience.
