Marrakesh - Aït Benhaddou - Valley of the Roses - Dadès Gorges

Ouarzazate - After picking you up from your hotel, riad, or the airport, we’ll journey to Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll traverse the breathtaking Atlas Mountains via the stunning Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, which offers spectacular views from its 2,260 meters.

Ait Ben Haddou - Once we’ve crossed the Atlas Mountains, we’ll arrive at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most impressive fortified cities and a famous filming location for movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Kingdom of Heaven.

Skoura - Next, we’ll take the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs to Skoura, where we’ll pause to explore Amridil Kasbah.

El Kelaa M’gouna - Kelaat M’Gouna, a charming city in Tinghir Province and the capital of the Valley of the Roses.

Dades Gorges - At the end of the first day, we’ll drive to the Dadès Gorges, where we’ll spend the night.

Dadès Gorges - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

Dades Gorges - After breakfast, we’ll head towards the Dadès Valley, traveling through the incredible Todgha Gorges, where we’ll enjoy lunch.

Merzouga - With renewed energy, we’ll continue our journey towards Merzouga, passing through the Jorf palm grove, known for its excellent dates, and Erfoud, home to fascinating fossil fragments.

Upon arriving in Merzouga, we’ll trade our 4x4s for camels to delve into the desert and make our way to a Bedouin camp, where we’ll spend the night and savor a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Merzouga - Rissani-Alnif-Tazarine - Tizi N’Tfrkhin - Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate - We’ll start the third day of our tour with the magical experience of watching the sunrise over the desert. After an early start, we’ll return to our camels and head to a hotel for a shower and breakfast (depending on the camp type, it may be possible to shower and have breakfast before the camel ride).

On our return to Ouarzazate, we’ll take a different route.

Rissani - Passing through the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the village of Rissani, the ancient capital and home to the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty, we’ll reach the town of Alnif.

Alnif - Here, we’ll join the road that crosses the stunning Anti-Atlas mountain range.

El Kelaa M’gouna - After admiring the spectacular colors and shapes of the mountains, we’ll arrive at Tizi N’tfarkhin, Tinghir, and an amazing palm grove in the Dadès Valley. At lunchtime, we’ll stop at Klaat M’Gouna to eat and rest before continuing the route.

In the afternoon, we’ll cross the High Atlas mountains on our way to Ouarzazate, where we’ll spend the night in a riad or a kasbah.

Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Ouarzazate - After a delightful breakfast, you’ll have time to explore Ouarzazate at your leisure. We recommend visiting the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios, known as the Hollywood of the desert.

We’ll return you to Marrakech in the early afternoon.
