Experience the Crown of Belgium in 1 day - This tour offers a good glimpse of Bruges. Our guide provided meaningful information to enrich our understanding and appreciation of the history, culture, significant land marks and buildings. Bruges is definitely more than a 1 day Visit. But if you only had 1 day, this tour is it.

Excellent Day Trip to Bruges Well Organised and Worth Every Minute - This day trip from Brussels to Bruges was one of the highlights of my visit to Belgium. Everything was exceptionally well organised—from the timely departure to the smooth return in the evening. The tour was clearly structured, with separate guides for English and Spanish speakers, which made the experience more comfortable and engaging. Our English-speaking guide, Peter, was outstanding. He was not only warm and approachable but also incredibly knowledgeable about Belgian history, Bruges’ heritage, and quirky local facts you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. He struck a great balance between giving detailed explanations and allowing us time to soak in the atmosphere. Peter’s calm and friendly manner made it easy to ask questions, and he went out of his way to make sure everyone felt included. Despite having a smaller English-speaking group, he used audio headsets to make sure we could all hear him clearly without needing to crowd around. The guided walking tour covered the essentials, including the Lake of Love and St. John’s Hospital, and we had free time afterwards to explore at our own pace. The whole day ran smoothly, and the itinerary was well thought out. Highly recommend this trip—especially if you get Peter as your guide!

Very good visit to Bruges - Our tour guide Paula was very knowledgeable and I appreciated her use of the headphones. She showed us all the sites. I just wish we wouldn’t have looked for the windmills. There wasn’t much to see in that part of town. Although the windmills and entry gate were interesting.

Lovely!! - We contemplated taking the train and venturing off to Bruges on our own, but so glad we booked this instead. The guide walked us through the town and gave us lots a history along the way. Then we had about 3.5 hours for lunch and explore. I would have liked to maybe have one more hour on our own. It was such a lovely place but very crowded with tourism. I would like to go back in a less busier time.

The instructions for... - The instructions for finding the guide in Brussels were easy and clear. Our guide, Oscar, was engaging, informative, and professional. In Brussels, Oscar led us around on a historical tour for about an hour, and then we had four hours to explore the beautiful city. The bus from Brussels to Bruges was shared with Spanish and English tours; the two guides took turns making announcements. The return trip however, was only Spanish. The company needs to update a bit to be able to accept credit cards for earbuds and water. Many of the bathrooms in Bruges cost a euro to use, they all accepted ccs.

Rushed, Underwhelming, and Poorly Organized - This walking tour was unfortunately a disappointment. The guide had us speed-walking from stop to stop with very little time to actually take in the sights. At each location, we were given only the most basic historical facts—nothing beyond what you could easily find on a quick internet search. There were no visuals, anecdotes, or added depth to make the experience feel engaging or special. We were also surprised by the number of unexpected charges. Earphones for the tour radios (which were required due to group size laws) came with an extra cost—something that wasn't clearly disclosed upfront. There was just one designated bathroom stop the entire tour, and even that came with a 1 euro fee. To make matters worse, we were rushed through the line while competing with crowds from other tour groups. Logistics were also poorly handled. The tour began at a train station, but we had to walk quite a bit to reach the actual bus. At the end, we were dropped off on a random street and vaguely told to “head that way” to find our original meeting point. This lack of clear direction and planning felt unprofessional. In the end, we actually had a much better time exploring the city on our own after leaving the tour early. Unfortunately, this just didn’t feel like a good value for the money or time.
