Twice a year, the Golden Eagle migration graces the front ranges, following an 11,000-year-old path from their northern breeding grounds to their southern winter habitats. Join The Path Less Taken for a professionally guided interpretive hike that explores this incredible migration while traveling at the cruising altitude of a Golden Eagle.
This 7.3 km day hike begins with a steep climb, leading to the rolling ridge line of Wasootch. The trail features approximately 212 meters of elevation gain and requires a moderate level of fitness. Participants will be provided with hiking spikes and a pole if necessary.
The Flight of the Golden Eagle Interpretive Hike offers a wonderful blend of education and adventure!
