Amazing excursion - We had an amazing time. Sergio was more than awesome. I actually lost my diamond ring, carrot and half while zip lining. Didn’t realize till after we had done all the other events of the day and were back in the car driving home with Sergio. We asked him to call the place, he did, he did his best to try and find. We weren’t even out of the car and they had found my ring on the ground. He personally drove back an hour and half to get it and an hour and half to return it back to me. It was like finding a needle in a hay stack and I’m beyond grateful for how amazing the day was, the culture in Costa Rica and the truly remarkable people who helped return my ring. Can’t wait to go back next year. This was worth every penny I truly had the best time.

Crazy fun day!!! - This is a fabulous entertaining adventure!!! The whole staff was great from checking in to the horseback and especially the zip line crew. Everyone was well trained friendly accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to make every destination point perfect. I especially note how they helped the younger kids on the zip line going tandem with them when needed. Also a beautiful ride up the mountain to get there!!! We went in April. Definite place to go!!!!

Best day of the trip! - Easily the best day of our trip. The whole family had an amazing time. Everyone was so nice. Jimena was our primary guide and she was amazing! She gave us some great facts about the country as well as the culture and she made sure we got the most out of the experience.

A fantastic way to spend a day. - My wife and I visited Rincon for the first time, and we had a fantastic day. Our guide was excellent, there were plenty of fun activities, the buffet lunch was much better than anticipated, and the staff were always very pleasant and eager to assist if needed. We highly recommend Rincon for a fun filled day you will always remember in Costa Rica.

Fun adventure day with some hits and misses - We visited Rincón Thermals & Adventures on an Explore Day Pass and had a genuinely enjoyable time, even if a few parts of the experience didn’t quite match what was advertised. Lunch was surprisingly good and made the day feel easy with a solid meal that kept us going between activities. The staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful, and they kept things moving even when the crowds picked up. A few of the team members helping with the initial zip line gear seemed a bit rushed, but everyone else we interacted with was great. The zip line course itself was fun, though it ran longer than expected. Our group ended up overlapping with the group behind us, and there were quite a few unsupervised kids on the course, which made things feel a little chaotic at times. We didn’t have enough time left in the day to try the water slide, which was a bit of a disappointment. The volcanic mud experience wasn’t quite what we imagined; it’s more of a self-apply station than a spa-style mud bath. Additionally, access to the river is tricky and haphazard. The rocks are extremely slippery, and it’s not an easy or comfortable spot to get into the water. The horseback ride was also different from what the website describes. It’s not through the rainforest (this area of Costa Rica isn’t rainforest), and the ride itself was short and felt more like an amusement park loop than a guided trail experience. Even with those quirks, we still had a good time. For the price, it’s a solid day of activities, hot springs, and scenery. Just be aware that both Rincón’s website and the tour agency that sold us the excursion oversell the experience a bit. Go in with realistic expectations, and you’ll have a fun and memorable day.

Fun adventure day - This was an enjoyable half day to try some new things and drive off the beaches. My family enjoyed the ziplines; we all loved the horseback riding (wish it were longer). The waterslide was very fast and could be dangerous if you panic and don't follow directions (we all enjoyed it!). The lunch was very good and authentically Costa Rican. The only parts less than great were the hot springs, mud bath, and pool area (mostly stagnant water filled with bugs/leaves), plus the bar (he had to go get drinks, which took him over 20 minutes just because of the distance. You really don't want to spend more than 20 minutes here unless you don't have access to a pool on your vacation. They have lots of staff all over, except in this area. I wish they had people to explain the mud bath, guide you around this expansive area, etc. The price here, though, is unbeatable. They offer many activities for under $100, while other places can charge $100 or more for 1 of the activities here. I'd plan to spend 4 hours here, not 8 hours or "all-day". Worth it and we recommend it.

Fun day - Overall, the day was fantastic. Zip lining was awesome, horse back riding was fun, and the mud baths / thermal pools were a nice touch. Hint - soak in the hot pool for 10 mins, then do mud, then jump in the river! The water slide was exciting but pretty rough for a 225lb guy. Only reason it wasn’t a five star experience was because we were told there was a small waterfall and culture tour included. The waterfall was dried up (maybe it was the season), and we never did the culture tour. Overall, still a fantastic day!
