• Chichen Itza - Travel from Playa del Carmen in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan to Chichen Itzá, with a brief 10-minute stop en route. Arrive at the sacred city of the Itzáes, where the sun (k’in Ahau in the Mayan language) aligns on March 21 and September 21 during the spring and fall equinoxes.

Be awed by the grand “pyramid” of Kukulkan Castle, an emblem of astronomical, architectural, mathematical, and engineering brilliance.
