“Our Customized Cao Bang, Ban Gioc, Babe Lake tour in May-June 2024 - We are a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. We traveled on this 4D3N customised private tour to Cao Bang, Ban Gioc waterfall, Ba Be Lake. We were picked up by the tour guide Mr. Long (David) at Halong Bay. We traveled to Cao Bang. The drive was long but enjoyable. David is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who did his utmost to make our tour comfortable and provide unique experiences like a mountain trek near Mr. Kim homestay, visits to paper producing village, incense producing village, insights into lives of minority groups in north Vietnam. The visit to Ban Gioc, the monastery on the hill and the nearby cave were great experiences. We enjoyed our boat ride to Ba Be lake, swimming in the lake and our stay at the Ba Be lake homestay. We had vegetarian diet requirements which were well arranged by our tour guide David throughout the tour.
