“Our Customized Cao Bang, Ban Gioc, Babe Lake tour in May-June 2024 - We are a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. We traveled on this 4D3N customised private tour to Cao Bang, Ban Gioc waterfall, Ba Be Lake. We were picked up by the tour guide Mr. Long (David) at Halong Bay. We traveled to Cao Bang. The drive was long but enjoyable. David is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who did his utmost to make our tour comfortable and provide unique experiences like a mountain trek near Mr. Kim homestay, visits to paper producing village, incense producing village, insights into lives of minority groups in north Vietnam. The visit to Ban Gioc, the monastery on the hill and the nearby cave were great experiences. We enjoyed our boat ride to Ba Be lake, swimming in the lake and our stay at the Ba Be lake homestay. We had vegetarian diet requirements which were well arranged by our tour guide David throughout the tour. We definitely enjoyed our tour and the variety of experiences along the way.” - Reviewed at 2024-06-07

“Amazing and Authentic - This delivered more than expected when I booked for a group of friends for something a little bit different. Whilst it is bit of a drive there were plenty of stops along the way at local businesses. We got to see traditional people in the mountains, water buffalo at work and the water fall was amazing. To top it off, our accommodation was wonderful.” - Reviewed at 2025-03-11
