Setting Sail to Paradise

The sun was just beginning to rise over Cartagena, casting a golden hue across the bay as I made my way to the Muelle de la Bodeguita. The anticipation of the day ahead was palpable, and I could feel the familiar thrill of adventure coursing through my veins. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and today, the Rosario Islands were calling my name.

Our journey began with a speedboat ride that sliced through the azure waters, leaving a trail of frothy white waves in its wake. The captain, Andrea, along with her crew, Carlos and Julio, exuded a warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the day. Their passion for the sea was infectious, and I found myself eagerly soaking in their stories and insights about the islands.
