This walking tour... - This walking tour presents the opportunity to not only see historical, cultural, interesting, and picturesque sites but also educates about the establishment and development of Charlottetown and Prince Edward Island. The tour was well paced. Even though I am in my late 70's, the walk was totally enjoyable with frequent stops and explanations along the way. Only one short walk was uphill with the majority of the route on fairly level ground. Our tour guide Mark was superb. He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and personable. A longtime resident of Charlottetown and PEI, his personal perspective was interesting and entertaining. Our tour was enhanced by the beautiful October weather and the city's novel, festive, and comical fall decorations.

Great walking tour! - We had a wonderful walking tour of the city with Josh’s father-in-law. He covered so much history and shared wonderful stories about the island. It seemed that everyone in town knew him! We appreciated his recommendation for lunch, enjoying seafood chowder and mussels!

Lovely way to spend a morning - A very informative, but friendly tour of a very pretty town. It was great the way that Mark interjected a personal touch to his commentary. The tour was set at a comfortable pace and stopped at all the main points of interest with interesting & fun stories. We had a great morning in Charlottetown and enjoyed an amazing Lobster roll too!!

Wonderful tour of Charlottetown - The tour guide was fantastic. He spoke slowly for our group and waited patiently for my mother and I since we were last because she used a walker.

A charming small city, with a few pleasant surprises - Visiting Charlottetown was one of our shore excursion options on our cruise. We were pleased with this tour and it showed us the highlights of this provincial city. The central area is a grid, so it is quite easy to find your way around. The harbor is very nicely developed, with a park-like design, with benches, walking trails and places for children to play. There are multiple restaurants in town, with a surprising variety of foods. St. Dunstan's cathedral is spectacular, and it certainly deserves an extended visit. At a lovely chocolate shop, we were introduced to chocolate covered potato chips: an unusual concept at first, quite delicious after you taste it. A tour of the harbor gives you another perspective of the town. Places to visit include Government House, the Farmers' Market and Beaconsfield Historic House. Also, there is lovely food to be enjoyed throughout town, as well as art galleries and specialty shops.

Average - We’ve taken several walking tours in different cities and this one could have been better. Our guide was personable and got everyone to introduce themselves at the start. The information was very interesting and the ground covered was very reasonable. The introduction part of the tour took 30 min. for the guide to explain the history going back to indigenous times, which was enlightening but too detailed. We sat down (on a low stone wall) for 30 min. at the first stop and it affected the momentum. She also had a habit of speaking while looking at the attraction she was talking about so we had trouble hearing her. The tour lasted 30 min. longer than scheduled because of the rambling storytelling. The takeaway from this review is that it’s a tour that covers good ground and has interesting information, but lacked in the delivery.
