• Province House National Historic Site - The tour will pass by Province House, where the Fathers of Confederation first convened to discuss the formation of Canada.
• Charlottetown - Upon leaving the city, the tour will highlight attractions such as St. Dunstan’s Church and Red Shores Casino. As the journey continues beyond the city, various topics, including the general history of PEI, will be discussed.
• Covehead Harbour Lighthouse - The tour will explore the history of the lighthouse and the Yankee Gale of 1851 that occurred off the shores of PEI.
• Dalvay Beach - Entering the national park, the tour will pass by Dalvay By the Sea Hotel, sharing insights about its past as a summer home.
• The Dunes Studio Gallery & Cafe - The tour will pass by this renowned PEI shop, home to an art gallery, PEI arts and crafts, gifts, and beautiful gardens. Visitors are welcome to stop in if they wish.
• Farmers’ Bank of Rustico Museum & Doucet House - The tour will discuss the bank’s history and pause briefly for a chat. Visitors are encouraged to explore the museum to learn more about the bank’s history. The Doucet House, the oldest on PEI, is also located here.
• North Rustico - The tour will drive through the charming town of North Rustico, delving into its history and the Acadian presence on PEI. Attractions such as the Rotating House and the North Rustico Lighthouse will be highlighted, along with the significance of fishing to PEI.
• Prince Edward Island National Park - The tour will enter the second section of the PEI National Park, offering scenic views and insights into PEI’s past.
• Cavendish - The tour will pass by the famous Cavendish Cliffs, providing information about Cavendish’s history and the renowned Marco Polo ship. Visitors are welcome to check out the viewing platform overlooking the famous Cavendish Beach.
• Green Gables - The tour will stop at the Green Gables Heritage Site, where Lucy Maud Montgomery drew inspiration for her famous book, “Anne of Green Gables.” A brief discussion will take place, and visitors are welcome to explore the site.
• New Glasgow - As the tour returns to Charlottetown through the rolling countryside, various industries on PEI and historical points will be discussed.
• Brackley Beach - Continuing through the first section of the PEI National Park, the tour will pass by the famous Brackley Beach while discussing various PEI topics.
