Mount Qingcheng - Morning: (7:15 AM) Depart for Mt. Qingcheng
Embark on a 1.5-hour journey to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mt. Qingcheng. Departing early helps avoid traffic. A golf cart will transport you to the Taoist-inspired architecture, reminiscent of Kung Fu Panda 3’s Panda Village. Enjoy a half-hour uphill walk to Moon City Lake, followed by a cable car ride to the significant Taoist temple. Continue hiking to the mountaintop, home to Laojun Pavilion, offering breathtaking views, weather permitting. Conclude with a cable car descent from Shangqing Palace, followed by a 30-minute walk to exit Mt. Qingcheng. -
