Best tour ever - We booked this tour because we wanted to avoid going in a bus with a bunch of people and spend a lot of time picking up from other hotels and dealing with crowds or being rushed. We wanted to go at our own pace and it was exactly what we expected! We are a family w 3 kids so multiple restroom breaks and some wandering off happened and it was nice to just be us and being on our time. Yolo and Raul were great! Yolo was our guide and is extremely knowledgeable on info pertaining to the ruins, the area and the culture. She’s not just reading off a pamphlet, you can tell she actually knows her stuff. She was very patient w our kids and did a great job explaining to them in ways they understood. We stopped by for lunch and cenote after the ruins. And then Valladolid. Although it’s a little pricier than a regular tour it is totally worth it! Gracias Yolo y Raul! Team Rancheritos y Coca!

Best tour guide we ever had! - David was an amazing travel guide. Informative, flexible, friendly, answered our questions, helped my disabled husband get to the cenote, listened to our needs, gave local advice, and was the best tour guide we have ever had. Would book again with Kay or David!

Absolutely Magical experience with our amazig guide Cesar & driver Carlos.. - 10 stars for Cesar, our guide.
10 stars for Carlos, our driver.
They were ready and waiting for us at our resort, first thing in the morning. Our cooler was packed with what we requested and the van was nice and clean. Cesar was more than happy to answer all of our questions all throughout the day. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, and as well as Carlos, very personable. Cesar was diligent in his duties as guide, but was also very chill and relaxed. Nothing but good vibes from the both of them. Through Chichen Itza and the two Cenotes we viited, Cesar made sure we understood everything, and were well taken care of.
Both our driver and guide made our day of adventure the mot memorable.

Fantastic Private Tour from Cancun to Chichen Itza - Three friends and I had a fabulous day on our private tour with Daniel Alcaraz as our tour guide, and Martin driving. They picked us up from the Ferry dock, since we were staying on Isla Mujeres. Daniel took care to understand our interests, and share info that allowed us to connect to the wider Mayan world. He did an amazing job guiding us through Chichen Itza. We then had a delicious lunch and loved the Cenote experience. We asked to be picked up from the dock at 6:30 am to beat the crowds, heat and return at a reasonable hour. It was a perfect arrangement. They returned us to the ferry dock shortly after 5 pm. We highly recommend Daniel Alcaraz from Kay Tours.

Cedric is one of the best guide’s we’ve ever encountered!! Book this tour- you won’t regret it! - We are 4 adults who have never been to Chichen Itza. Our day trip started with Martin (our designated driver) and Cedric, our incredible historian and guide, picking us up at our hotel early (6:30a) so that we could reach Chichen Itza as it opened. Along the 2.5 hour drive, Cedric narrated the history of the Mayan culture and provided us with so much information so that when we arrived to Chichen Itza we would be more informed of what was to come.
We enjoyed a customized 75 min walking tour around the Castillo, the ball field, the columns and a few other close by historical ruins. (We had a family member who had an injury so we knew we wouldn’t be able to walk for too long) and knowing this in advance allowed Cedric to curate the tour to our liking.
We then got back in our beautiful spacious and Air conditioned van and went on to Cenote Saamal- where we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the natural waters! (Don’t worry - lockers are included) We took our go-pro and enjoyed about 30 mins in the water. Water socks were worn by many- but are not required or needed (just be careful going down the stone steps and the algae covered platform)
After getting out of the Cenote we changed and headed right for a beautiful buffet of Yucatán specialties.
After lunch we asked to go to a super market to find local treats to take home items like Cajeta and hot sauces.
We then started our drive back to the resort. Overall, we spent almost 11 hours together and loved every minute of it! We would definitely want to do this excursion again as long as Cedric was our guide! He made our day and we’re still talking about him!

Chichen Itza & Cenote - My friend and I booked a tour to Chichén Itzá, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences we’ve had. From start to finish, the entire day was seamless and absolutely worth it.
The Highlights:
• Expert Guiding: A massive shout-out to our guide, James! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating insights about the history and culture of the site. Beyond his expertise, he was super friendly and made the day so much fun.
• The Lunch: We were pleasantly surprised by the food! We had a delicious lunch included that gave us a great taste of the local flavors. It was the perfect fuel for a day of exploring.
• Cenote Visit: After the ruins, we visited a cenote, which was the perfect way to cool off. Swimming in that crystal-clear water was a magical experience and a definite highlight of the tour.
If you’re looking for a mix of deep history, great food, and a refreshing adventure, I can’t recommend this tour (and James!) enough.

An Amazing Day with Kay Tours! - Our guide Rodrigo was amazing! The depth of his knowledge of the ruins, civilization and Mayan culture was appreciated by the history buffs in our group. One member of our group was quite nervous about the Takbeluum Ceynotes and our driver Elias, shared some quiet words of encouragement before we went into the Ceynotes. So helpful and appreciated! It was simply an incredible day that surpassed our expectations! We would highly recommend booking through Kay Tours with Rod Rodrigo and Elias!
