Perfect Balance of Costa Rica - We booked this adventure at the very last minute and everyone at ParaNature was very accommodating. They made it happen for us! This tour is the perfect balance to experience all of the things that Costa Rica has to offer. The waterfall access is easy and not an intense hike, which is what we were looking for. The sanctuary tour guides are enthusiastic and aim to please. They are excited and eager to spot wildlife with every visitor! They made it feel special and exciting. It is easy terrain and just the right amount of time! Experiencing the rich history and traditions of Costa Rica via the coffee and cacao tour was perfect. Gino, Pablo and Ivan of ParaNature were communicative, accommodating, informative and made all the logistics of the tour easy and enjoyable! The vehicles you are in are in pristine condition. You can tell that they prepare for each guest and scenario. We learned so many things about Costa Rica. It is a doable tour for all ages. One thing to prepare for: bring cash bills in a few different amounts to tip each tour guide at each location because you will want to tip them!

Unforgettable Costa Rica Tour – Waterfalls, Sloths, and Cacao/Coffee! - This tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The sloth tour was the highlight—we were just a meter away from a baby sloth! It was such a rare and magical moment. Our sloth guide, Pablo, was amazing—knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly dedicated to protecting the wildlife.
Our overall guide for the day (also named Pablo) was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
The waterfall stop was breathtaking, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. And the interactive cacao and coffee tour was such a treat. We learned so much about the growing and production process and got to taste incredibly fresh cacao and coffee—some of the best we’ve had.
This tour was the perfect blend of nature, wildlife, and culture, and it was made even better by the fantastic guides. Absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

Costa Rica Sloth Tour - Our tour was a great experience from the ride to the sloth tour, the coffee tour and the waterfall tour. To each destination, our tour guide provided us with information about the cloud forest and lowland rain forest. Our tour guide took the time to educate us on the different species like the toucans, the poisonous dart frogs, snakes, wild cacao beans, sloths, etc. We stopped at a local restaurant for lunch, the fish was amazing.

Made our visit to Costa Rica memorable - Our experience was amazing! Each location we visited was something special. All of our guides were personable, funny, and respectful. Our tour guides Pedro (driver), Jose Pablo (sloth guide), and Dryro (coffee/chocolate tour) were outstanding! We had a small, intimate group so that made the tour very enjoyable as well. It made a good first impression of our stay here since it was the first excursion we booked. We’ve been recommending this tour to everyone who will listen.

First and foremost, Pablo... - First and foremost, Pablo is an extraordinary tour guide/driver! We learned so much about Costa Rica! It took only a few minutes to reach the beautiful waterfall, so don’t expect it to be a long hike. We were able to swim and bask in its beauty. The rainforest tour was the highlight. Be prepared to get your shoes dirty/muddy. We saw frogs, sloths, snakes, and toucans! After that tour, we were greeted with cut up mangos to snack on. The coffee and cacao tour was super fun since we learned the process of how coffee is made and grinded the beans to drink afterwards. The lunch was also amazing. Huge shoutout to Pablo for driving our group and making our trip so memorable!

Great, local tour! - Our tour guide, pablo (sorry if i got it wrong!!) was so great and knowledgeable. Explained to us a lot of costa rican history and animals on our way. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and we saw a ton of animals including a little baby sloth!! The local guide there was also the best…spotting animals for us everywhere and taking photos for us. And of course coffee and cocoa cannot go wrong! Highly recommend the tour if you want a truly local experience.

Costa Rica 2025 - Our tour guides (Pablo/Orlando) were fantastic! They picked us up as schedule with another great family. We had a blast going to a waterfall then travel through a rain forest with Samuel. We saw lots of wildlife. Next, we went to cacao/coffee plantation with Alan. The waterfall does require ambulatory people, so people with walking difficulties should probably sit this part out. Highly recommended this tour to anyone 6+ years old.

Best!!! - It was definitely a one of a kind excursion. It was wonderful. Our guide Livingston was so knowledgable and at the rainforest, the other guide would find the wildlife and the take pictures using my phone. Some amazing picture. I would 100% recommend this to anyone going to this area. Better than the water type excursions.
