• Blarney Castle & Gardens - Upon arriving in Cork at 09:35, guests will transfer to the tour coach for a journey through Cork City to Blarney Village and the historic Blarney Castle, which boasts a history of over 600 years.

Visitors can explore the stunning gardens and take the opportunity to kiss the renowned stone, believed to grant the gift of eternal eloquence to those fortunate enough to do so. There will also be time for shopping and enjoying lunch in Blarney Village.

TIP! It is recommended to have lunch here, as it will be the only chance during the day to enjoy a substantial meal.

Departure from Blarney is scheduled for approximately 13:30 hrs, or as directed by the Host, heading to Cóbh via the city center with a brief city tour.

• Cobh Heritage Centre The Queenstown Story - When Queen Victoria visited Ireland in 1849, she came to Cóbh, and the town was renamed Queenstown in her honor. It was later renamed Cóbh following Irish independence in 1922.

Cóbh was notably the final port of call for the RMS Titanic, a theme thoroughly explored at the center. The center also provides extensive information about the Great Famine and subsequent Irish emigration, with 3 million Irish people having emigrated from Cóbh, primarily to the United States.

The Lusitania was torpedoed off the coast of Cork, marking the United States’ entry into the First World War, and the few survivors were brought to Cóbh for refuge.

Cóbh is also the headquarters of the Irish Navy, and visitors will likely see some navy ships.

• WHEELCHAIR POLICY: Our tours are a combination of train and luxury coach and include a moderate level of physical activity, such as short walks to meeting points etc. Unfortunately even the most modern luxury coaches (buses) are not wheelchair friendly, thus our tours are not suitable for those with mobility issues, and regretfully walkers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on our tours.
