PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Plaza de Armas - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate. At 2:00 pm, you’ll be picked up from your hotel for a city tour, starting with a 45-minute guided visit to Koricancha (Temple of the Sun). Afterward, a 30-minute drive will take you to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (a ritual center on a rocky outcrop), a place filled with mysticism that you’ll feel upon entering the rock formation. A 15-minute drive will then bring you to PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship took place. After the tour, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour of approximately 1 hour. Following the Willka Mayu (Sacred River), we’ll reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean cuisine. After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take us to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site, including a 1-hour guided tour of the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces. We’ll then head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll spend the night. In the evening, your guide will visit your hotel to provide all the details for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - We’ll take a bus to Machu Picchu, where we’ll present our entrance tickets. Your guide will provide a 2-hour explanation about Machu Picchu. Afterward, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Finally, we’ll head to the train station to board a train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus ride to your hotel in Cusco. “Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability, and the only authorized seller is the Ministry of Culture of Peru. Tickets will be purchased based on available circuits (1 and 2). Other circuits may be available for an additional charge. If no tickets are available, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.”

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - At 4:00 am, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive to the town of Mollepata for breakfast. We’ll then continue to Soraypampa, where we’ll begin a 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level. Along the way, you’ll appreciate the local flora and fauna. We’ll then descend to Soraypampa and take a vehicle back to Mollepata for a delicious lunch before returning to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
