AIRPORT PICK-UP – CUSCO CITY TOUR

Qorikancha - A company representative will be ready to greet you upon your arrival in Cusco at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The morning is free for leisure. The city tour commences at 2:00 p.m. with a hotel pick-up. Our first stop is the Temple of the Sun, or Qorikancha, a revered indigenous religious sanctuary. Here, you will admire the exquisite lithic technology of the Incas, showcasing precision stone cutting that remains stable despite earthquakes.

Sacsayhuaman - Following the Qorikancha visit, we will board a bus to Sacsayhuaman, located 3 km from Cusco. Sacsayhuaman provides a panoramic view of Cusco and was constructed with massive limestone blocks weighing between 25 and 130 tons. It features three superimposed terraces in a zigzag pattern.

Q’enqo - Next, we will visit Q’enqo, meaning labyrinth, situated 1 km from Sacsayhuaman. This site, built from limestone rock, displays stone sculptures over 500 m2 and includes structures believed by historians to have been used for astronomical, religious, and embalming purposes.

Tambomachay - Finally, we will explore Tambomachay, located 9 km from Cusco, known as the Inca Baths for its water sources, or the waters of eternal youth due to its constant flow. It offers a glimpse of the Inca trail from Cusco to Machu Picchu. The city tour concludes around 6:30 p.m.

EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF MACHU PICCHU IN A SMALL GROUP

Aguas Calientes - The tour begins early with a hotel pick-up, followed by a journey to Ollantaytambo station to board the train to Machu Picchu village, or Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you, and we will take a bus to the Machu Picchu citadel. A guided tour of approximately three hours will be provided, with ample time for photos. After the tour, we will return to the village by bus and enjoy a meal at a recommended restaurant. In the afternoon, we will take the return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, followed by transport back to Cusco to drop you off at your hotel.

HUMANTAY LAGOON EXCURSION

Laguna Humantay Full Day Tour - The tour starts between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. with a hotel pick-up, then we head to Mollepata for a 2.5-hour trip. Upon arrival, an American breakfast is included, and last-minute shopping can be done. We continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m/12,795 ft.), where we prepare for a 1 hour and 40-minute hike to the Humantay Lagoon (4,200 m/13,779 ft.). Those who prefer not to walk can choose the horse option. Upon arrival, enjoy the stunning scenery of the snowy Humantay and its lagoon, with time for a guide’s explanation and photos. Afterward, we return to Soraypampa, where transportation awaits to take us back to Mollepata for a comforting lunch, and then return to Cusco.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN EXCURSION

Vinicunca Mountain - The tour begins with a hotel pick-up between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., heading south to Cusco until reaching Cusipata, where an American breakfast is included. We continue to the community of Phulawasipata, prepare, and start the hike to the Rainbow Mountain (5,080 m/16,666 ft.) for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Those who prefer not to walk can opt for horse options. Upon reaching the Rainbow Mountain, there is ample time for information and photographs. Afterward, we return to Phulawasipata, where transport awaits to take us back to Cusipata for a comforting lunch, and finally return to Cusco. The tour concludes around 5:00 p.m. near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco.
