• Comisaria de Huambutio - • The tour begins with a hotel pick-up at approximately 8:00 a.m., heading south of Cusco to reach Rumicolca.
  • Upon arrival at the river entrance, the rafting guide will provide the group with all necessary equipment, including wetsuits, life jackets, helmets, paddles, and windbreakers, for the boating activity.
  • The guide will conduct a comprehensive safety briefing, covering paddling techniques, securing oneself in the raft, swimming positions, and more.
  • Following the safety briefing, there will be about 10 minutes allocated for practicing the instructions provided.
• Comisaria de Huambutio - We will then enter the river’s current to explore this stunning section, navigating class I, II, and III rapids. For those seeking extra thrill, personal river floats will be available, with a safety kayaker accompanying the group.
  • The journey concludes before the confluence of the Huatanay and Vilcanota rivers, where our vehicle will be waiting to transport us to our camp. Here, participants can change and enjoy a meal with fruits and hot drinks. Guests may bring money to purchase additional beverages like soda, beer, chocolates, cookies, Doritos, etc.
  • The return to Cusco is scheduled for around 2:30 p.m.
