Value experience - We booked through the hotel desk. We needed a trip that would fit the small time frame we had. Looking back we would have enjoyed to have a half day trip so we would have longer on the island. After the landing and taking the submarine ride, we only had half an hour to swim and kayak before we had to get ready to leave the island again. It’s a really well equipped location and lovely surroundings. Will go back some day for longer stay. Free drinks were an amazing plus.

Perfect for Families with Young Kids! - We had a great experience on the Finding Nemo tour. It was the perfect length of time for smaller children, just long enough to enjoy the water without them getting overtired. A huge plus was that there were fewer people on the island during this tour compared to the full day trips, which made it feel much more relaxed. The glass bottom boat was a standout and a wonderful way for the kids to see the reef. Highly recommend for families!

Stunning day out - The check in process is quick and the catamaran ride to the island was smooth and took about 20mins. We got to the island and it was alovely welcome by the staff. We went for a swim in the crystal clear ocean and had a couple of complimentary beers (amd softies for the kids). Went in the semi submersible sub which was fun. Then just did some snorkelling. We didnt realise we were not going to be doing any guided snorkeling until we looked at the time and had to head back to the mainland. I think I would do the half day tour instead which includes lunch and more time on the island. Wasn't busy as the Finding nemo tour arrives before the others, so you have more time to explore without the crowds. The day was perfect so it was picturesque.

Great activity and great price - Really great value for money, nice ride out there and heaps of activities included in the package. Perfect for little ones (I took my four year old) and we really enjoyed viewing the reef from the submersible boat! We booked a full day trip for the next week after having such a great time. We took some snacks meaning we spent no additional money as activities and drinks were included! Highly recommend at such a great price.

Great snorkeling for the family - As a family of 3 we did the half day South Island tour. Overall a good morning out, ran smoothly, friendly staff and beautiful island (close by to marina). We saw a great amount of fish snorkeling off the island. The half day translated to only 90 minutes on the island which was pretty rushed so I’d recommend booking the full day. It was a bit chaotic once we returned to the marina to work out where and who was transferring us back to the hotel, there are a lot of busses and people departing at once. Some clearer directions and identifiable staff would make this transition easier.

Perfect for young families - South sea cruise pick up can be arranged from Denarau hotels included in booking fees. Prompt pick up, clean bus. Inside the port, it’s easy to find the location to collect physical tickets using your booking QR code. The trip over on the ferry is quick, then you’re assisted into a smaller boat to get to the island. Free soft drinks included, as outlined in booking, no lunch for the half day. Sand is very course coral/shells so bring some crocs. The little glass bottom boat ride is short, but long enough for young families and it’s quite hot inside. Time for a quick swim after and then back on the boat to head home. This trip is excellent for young families. I’d probably say children under 10. We had a 4 and 6 year old and it was great. Any longer and the kids would probably get a bit restless so a half day made it enjoyable for all.

90 minutes on the island isn’t enough to soak it in - Trip was good, however the actual time on the island isn’t very long. Between the 30 minute boat ride each way and the tender to and from the island, plus the 15 minute orientation and 15-30 minute departure time you end up with around 90 minutes to play on the island itself. Although the water was murky from the recent cyclone, the glass bottom boat was still an enjoyable experience for the kids. I’d recommend opting for the half day cruise instead, as it gives you an extra hour to enjoy your time on the island, as there is actually a good amount of activities to do.
