- Al Shindagha - Al Shindagha, occasionally spelled Al Shindagah or Al Shindaga, is a neighborhood located in the historic heart of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It has experienced significant restoration efforts to rejuvenate the area and its historic structures.
- Dubai Museum & Al Fahidi Fort - The Dubai Museum is currently closed.
The museum is located south of Dubai Creek, in the bustling Al Souk Al Kabir area, near the Ruler’s Court (the monarch’s divan). Originally constructed in 1787, about 200 years ago, it served as the monarch’s residence and a defensive fort, as it was on the edge of urban Dubai at the time. Later, the fort became an arsenal for artillery and weapons and was also used as a prison for criminals. It was renovated during the reign of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and opened in 1971 (the year the federation was formed) as an official museum showcasing Dubai’s history and heritage. In 1995, an additional underground museum was added to the old fort.
- Bur Dubai Abra Station - The abras, or ‘water taxis,’ operate every few minutes throughout the day across four stations along the creek. The first route travels from Deira Old Souk Abra Station (near the Spice Souk) to Bur Dubai Abra Station (west of the Old Souk). The second, busier route runs continuously from Al Sabkha Abra Station (just southwest of Baniyas Square) to Dubai Old Souk Abra Station.
- Jumeirah Public Beach - Jumeirah Beach is a white sand beach located in the Jumeirah district of Dubai, along the Persian Gulf coast.
- Burj Al Arab - As one of Dubai’s most renowned tourist landmarks, the Burj Al Arab is often ranked among the top five – if not the very top – of the world’s most iconic hotels.
Since its opening in late 1999, the hotel, with its unique sail-shaped silhouette, has positioned Dubai on the global luxury tourism map. Built on a triangular man-made island reclaimed from the sea, the hotel and its sail-like structure rise 321 meters above the sea, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf.
- Palm Jumeirah - Dubai is internationally acclaimed for its groundbreaking achievements, and The Palm Jumeirah is a remarkable example.
From above, the manmade island resembles a stylized palm tree, constructed from reclaimed land and a series of artificial archipelagos.
Palm Jumeirah hosts some of Dubai’s most luxurious resorts, including Atlantis The Palm, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, the One&Only The Palm, and many more. It also offers fantastic dining options worth exploring, such as Nobu and 101 Dining Lounge, even if you’re not staying at one of the many resorts.
The Palm is well-developed, with roads, tunnels, and public transport, making it easy to access the various hotels, restaurants, and attractions on the island. You can also take the Palm Monorail that runs to Atlantis, located at the helm.
- Atlantis The Palm - A Dubai icon, Atlantis, The Palm is the region’s most Instagrammed hotel.
- The Lost Chambers Aquarium - Explore the incredible world of The Lost Chambers Aquarium, home to over 65,000 fascinating marine animals. Embark on an under-the-sea adventure within the lost city of Atlantis and discover Dubai’s favorite and most immersive themed aquarium. Be sure to include a behind-the-scenes tour to complete your experience.
- Museum Of The Future - One of Dubai’s most renowned landmarks, the Museum of the Future (MOTF) is prominently located along the city’s superhighway, Sheikh Zayed Road. Established by the Dubai Future Foundation and inaugurated on 22 February 2022, the museum explores how society could evolve in the coming decades through science and technology.
- Zabeel Palace - Observing peacocks outside the Royal Palace, also known as Zabeel Palace, is an enjoyable and free activity during your Dubai holiday. A tour driver took us around, but if you have your own transportation, you can simply drive to the outskirts of the palace and look for where other tour cars are parked. Then, just pull over on the side of the road and enjoy the peacocks!
- Wings of Mexico - Wings of Mexico is a free photo spot with the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building) as a stunning backdrop.
