- Leith - Leith has a rich and varied past, this area is full of interesting features and it is very proud of its working class maritime history. The architecture is eclectic and it is not a modern trendy part of town
- Water of Leith Walkway - We will head back towards the New Town of Edinburgh following the Water of Leith on converted railway lines.
- Calton Hill - We wont visit Calton Hill proper but we will have an excellent view from the edge of the New Town looking back towards the city.
- New Town - We will travel through Edinburghs New Town Georgian streets on our way back to the start/finish point

A sense of being in and with Edinburgh and nature - I had a phenomenal time with Ricky, his puppy and two others on this bike tour. He is light hearted, very competent with bikes and advice for safety and clearly lives what he shares. I adored seeing the city this way and the bike ride to the beach was divine. The mix of city and nature was just what I need for my nervous system to arrive and align with this new place and the beings that make it live.

Highly recommended; a MUST on your Edinburgh trip! - We love a bike tour when we visit new places - and this one did not let us down! Stewart was an amazing guide - so knowledgable! He took us on a fantastic tour of the city (providing us with anecdotes, facts and stories as we went) and out to Portabello Beach, before looping back via the quay and a coffee stop. If we hadn’t done this tour, we would never have seen so many of these sites - or realised that the beach was just a short bike ride away!
We opted for the e-bikes and covered about 20km but, other than a bit of a hill at the end, we didn’t massively need the boost…it was just nice not to have to break too much of a sweat on a packed mini break!
By the end, we had a list of places that we knew we wanted to revisit and explore - and some great recommendations! Thank you!

Fantastic Cycling Tour with a Great Guide! - I really enjoyed the cycling tour around Edinburgh. Ricky was an excellent guide, sharing interesting history of the areas as we rode along scenic paths and stopped along the way. He also recommended great places to eat and was attentive in ensuring everyone’s safety throughout the ride. The bikes provided were well-maintained and in great condition, making the ride comfortable and hassle-free. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience on a beautiful day.

A million stars - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had an absolutely fantastic time on the e-bike tour around Edinburgh and couldn’t recommend it more. From start to finish, everything was so well organised — clear directions, excellent quality e-bikes, and all the equipment you need to feel comfortable and confident on the road.
Our tour guide was truly lovely: incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Edinburgh. They shared fascinating history and local insights while keeping the ride relaxed and enjoyable, making it easy to take everything in without feeling rushed.
The small group size was perfect — it felt personal, safe, and easy to keep together, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. And a special mention has to go to Lucy, the cutest dog ever, who completely stole our hearts and somehow made an already great tour about 10x better 🐶💛
If you’re looking for a fun, informative, and beautifully paced way to see Edinburgh, this e-bike tour is an absolute must. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Ricky (and Lucy) are dynamic tour guides!! Wonderful Edinburgh experience - Ricky is an expert guide and took us to parts of Edinburgh we never would have discovered without him (and his charming sidekick, Lucy (his adorable dog!)). He had wonderful stories of the city and surrounding area. This tour is the perfect duration for people of even modest cycling ability and will give you a real sense of this charming city. Would definitely recommend Ricky's tour!

Highly Recommend this Bike Tour - Great guide and a terrific tour. The electric assist bikes made the tour super easy. The tour provided a great overview of Edinburgh.

Fun Bike Ride Covering a Large Area - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning bike tour with Stuart. We covered a lot of ground (14.5 miles according to my Apple watch/map) and saw many sites in a fun and engaging manner. We opted for the pedal assist bikes and I would recommend this because there are definitely some hilly parts. Plus, why not give yourself a bit of juice while riding on vacation? I ride both a road bike and a pedal assist at home and found the bike to be easy to use. We did ride with traffic for very short sections, crossed busy intersections and rode on cobblestones. It is all part of the city experience and it was incredibly easy and safe to just follow Stuart. I would take this tour again and recommend it!
