Enjoy a lunch stop in Masindi and visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to observe the rare rhinos protected there. Arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected wildlife area, spanning 3,840 sq. km. Visit the top of the Falls to witness the breathtaking beauty where the river narrows to a 7-meter gorge from over 1 km wide, creating a thunderous cascade and a stunning rainbow. Enjoy dinner and rest.

Murchison Falls National Park - Start your day with a delicious breakfast and explore the Northern part, home to abundant Savannah wildlife. This game drive offers excellent photography opportunities of elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, hippos, and possibly leopards, along with numerous bird species.

Murchison Falls National Park - After lunch, embark on a 2-hour boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, where the river’s powerful flow creates a thunderous roar. During the cruise, observe a variety of water birds and mammals, including hippos and crocodiles. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Enjoy a substantial breakfast before departing Murchison Falls National Park for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel southwest through Fort Portal and the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Stop for lunch at Mountains of the Moon Hotel in Fort Portal town. Continue to Mweya Peninsula in Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Game Drive & Boat Cruise - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Following an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to spot nocturnal predators and early risers such as lions, buffaloes, antelopes, leopards, waterbucks, elephants, hippos, and warthogs. Bird enthusiasts will find Queen Elizabeth a haven with its diverse migratory and Albertine Rift Endemics. Enjoy dinner and overnight at one of the lodges.

Boat Cruise & Chimp Trekking Kyambura Gorge

Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, set out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for exceptional game viewing and bird watching. Return to the lodge for lunch, then proceed to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking. If time allows, explore Maramagambo Forest and its bat cave, where pythons prey on bats. Dine and rest at the lodge.

Transfer to Bwindi Forest via Ishasha Sector Tree-Climbing Lions

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Begin the day with an early breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via the Ishasha region in southern Queen Elizabeth to see the famous tree-climbing lions. Continue with a lunch stop along the way, followed by a community walk featuring the Batwa-Pygmy cultural experience and entertainment in the evening. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your chosen lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking before venturing into the lush forest with rangers. If fortunate, you may encounter the magnificent Bwindi gorillas in about 2 hours. The experience of meeting these gentle giants is truly awe-inspiring. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend a relaxing afternoon.

Transfer to Kampala

Kampala - Enjoy breakfast before returning to Kampala, with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Arrive in Kampala late afternoon for an optional city tour. You will then be transferred directly to the airport for your outbound flight or to your accommodation if not flying that evening.
