You will then be transferred to your reserved accommodation, where you can check in and relax, allowing time to recover from jet lag and adjust to the time difference.

Journey to Zziwa for Rhino Tracking. Continue to Murchison NP.

Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch - After breakfast, the journey begins to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a successful conservation initiative aimed at saving Uganda’s nearly extinct rhino population. Thanks to this effort, visitors can now encounter rhinos in Uganda. Upon arrival at Zziwa, enjoy an hour of on-foot rhino tracking. Following this, travel to Masindi for a lunch stop. After lunch, continue to the booked accommodation in Murchison NP for an overnight stay. You may choose to go on a game drive first or head straight to the accommodation to check in and relax.

Murchison Falls National Park - Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the park. Murchison Falls NP is home to a variety of wildlife, including Buffalos, Jackson hartebeests, elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, and hyenas, among others. These animals roam the savannah grasslands, either grazing or hunting, creating a stunning landscape for game viewing. To avoid a long drive back to the lodge, consider stopping at Red Chilli for a hot lunch. After lunch, continue with the second part of the game viewing. After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner and an overnight stay.

Visit the Top of the Falls. Transfer to Kibale Forest NP.

Kibale National Park - After breakfast, drive to the top of the falls to admire the breathtaking beauty of Murchison Falls. From there, embark on a scenic drive to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park for an overnight stay. The journey is long but offers stunning views of villages, lush green countryside, and hills adorned with tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in and relax.

Chimp Tracking in Kibale Forest. Lunch and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, head to the rangers’ post for a briefing on chimp trekking guidelines. Then, proceed to trek the chimps in Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger-guide. Spend an hour observing the primates once located. Return to the lodge for lunch, then travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Optionally, if time permits, enjoy a brief afternoon-evening game drive.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip on the Kazinga Channel.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Start the day early with breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, looking out for Cape buffalos, elephants, lions, and leopards. Return to the accommodation for rest and lunch. After lunch, embark on a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes George and Edward. Witness wildlife such as hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, along with various bird species. After the boat trip, choose to return to the lodge to rest or go for a brief late afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge.

Relaxed Breakfast. Drive to Ishasha Sector and Connect to Bwindi NP.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest, Return and Leisure Time.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. Enter the forest for an adventure in the spectacular rainforest, characterized by steep, forested landscapes and dense vegetation. The trek duration (4-8 hours) and terrain vary with the gorillas’ movements. Spend an hour with a gorilla group once located. Return to the accommodation to rest after the trek.

Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and Enjoy an Afternoon Game Drive.

Lake Mburo National Park - After a relaxed breakfast, set off for Lake Mburo NP. This compact gem is conveniently located near the highway connecting Entebbe/Kampala to western Uganda’s parks. Despite being the smallest savannah park, it hosts numerous bird species and animals like giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, and leopards. Check in for some rest before a late afternoon-to-evening game drive to observe Mburo’s wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Walking Safari in the Park. Return to Entebbe for Flight.

Uganda Equator - Enjoy an early breakfast and embark on a morning park walk with an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger-guide. Encounter zebras, giraffes, elands, topis, and other antelopes, as well as Cape buffalos up close. After this wildlife experience, return to the accommodation for checkout and travel to Entebbe airport for your flight (1800hrs or later). Stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for a photo opportunity and, if interested, purchase souvenirs.
