Great tour - Ron is clearly knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and shared several cool apps he used to track the likelihood and strength of the lights during the drive down. We were able to get some great photos on a night where the lights weren’t particularly strong.

Delightful guide, thoughtful itinerary, comfortable vehicle - Ron is a delightful guide. The vehicle is new and comfortable, with ample space and window access for everyone. He planned the itinerary thoughtfully and included a grocery stop in preparation for the long drive. Unfortunately, due to a hazardous chemical spill on the highway, the tour had to be cancelled after the first pipeline viewpoint. Ron handled the situation professionally, communicated clearly, offered full refunds, and even redirected others to a Fairbanks downtown tour. I look forward to returning to Fairbanks and rebooking with Ron under better circumstances.

Excellent tour organizer. - Ron, the tour provider, is a knowledgeable and professional guide. Despite my attempts to join two tours that were canceled on the way due to road conditions, he made prudent safety-based decisions. He communicates effectively with road services and truck drivers via radio, prioritizing tour safety, especially given the challenging winter weather in Fairbanks. His tour consists of small parties of 7 to 8 people, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere among the tour members.

10 out 10 , Best of the BEST tour in AK - I joined the Arctic Circle tour during my solo trip to Alaska, and I feel very lucky to have had Ron as my guide. Even before the tour, he proactively reached out to confirm pickup details, which gave me peace of mind—especially important when traveling alone. Throughout the journey, his explanations were engaging and insightful. He has deep knowledge of Alaska’s geography, culture, and history, and even with the long hours of driving, I never felt bored. The time passed quickly because there was always something interesting to learn. His vehicle is equipped with a satellite phone and radio system that communicates with nearby oncoming vehicles, which significantly increases safety on remote roads. His driving on snowy and icy conditions is calm and steady, making me feel completely secure. The itinerary was well paced, each seat had its own charging port, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared. I joined three different tours, and this tour is the highlight of my trip. If I return to Fairbanks, I would absolutely choose Ron again.

A excellent experience - Ron is an exceptional tour guide and true professional extremely well prepared, properly equipped, and clearly experienced with the real world challenges that can come with remote Alaskan roads. Safety is his top priority both on and off the road, and his risk assessment is excellent. In my view, he’s easily one of the best tour guides you can book in Fairbanks, period. Ron is equipped with the kind of gear that actually matters when conditions get serious: satellite phone, radio communications for navigating treacherous routes, and top tier snow tires. His driving skills in snowy and icy conditions are outstanding calm, controlled, and clearly backed by experience. He also plans ahead in a way that immediately inspires confidence. He carries blankets, food, water, and other essential supplies, and it’s obvious he thinks through nearly every scenario. This was my first tour in Alaska, and I genuinely feel fortunate that Ron was our guide. He consistently goes the extra mile to make sure the tour is safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone. If I return to Fairbanks, I would book with Ron again without hesitation and honestly, I’d exclusively book his tours because I trust him to do everything possible to ensure the experience goes well for the entire group.
