• Florence - Begin your adventure by visiting our office at 9:30 am for the essential check-in procedures for the tour. Please ensure you have all the necessary documents with you. The tour will set off from Florence at 10:00 am.

The journey to Chianti will take approximately an hour. During this time, your guide will present the day’s itinerary and share captivating insights into Tuscany’s history, culture, and landscapes. As you relax and enjoy the scenic drive, take in the rolling hills adorned with vineyards and olive groves. Your guide’s engaging stories and expertise will deepen your appreciation of the region, making the drive both informative and enjoyable.

• Tuscany on Wheels tours from San Gimignano - Arrive at our headquarters in the heart of the Chianti region at 10:40 am, where you will meet your local leader. After a test drive to ensure you are confident on the Vespa and familiar with safety procedures, you’ll be ready to hit the road.
• Tuscany - Embark on a ride along quiet and scenic roads through the rolling hills of the Chianti region, where some of the most renowned Tuscan wines are produced. Fall in love with the fields of vines, cypresses, and Tuscan rural houses, with plenty of opportunities for photo stops.

Along our route, we will witness the skylines of incredible Medieval villages like San Gimignano and hear the legendary stories these places hold from your local guide.

• Chianti Road - Our next stop is a charming local winery, where the warm and welcoming owners will greet you and guide you through their beautiful property. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the vineyards and learn about the intricate process of wine production. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a delightful and authentic Tuscan meal, featuring a tasting of their exquisite wines and premium extra virgin olive oil. This experience promises to be a true delight, immersing you in the rich culinary traditions and flavors of Tuscany.
• Sant’Appiano - Hop back on the Vespa and prepare to enjoy the final leg of your scenic drive through the breathtaking Tuscan countryside. As you navigate the winding roads, you’ll be surrounded by rolling hills dotted with ancient olive groves, lush vineyards, and picturesque farmhouses. The Vespa is the perfect vehicle to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of Tuscany, creating an unforgettable sensory experience.
• Florence - Return to the original starting point in the afternoon with a camera full of photos and a heart full of joy. Before departing from the group, quickly complete the final vehicle check and prepare for the 45-minute ride back to Florence at 5:00 pm.

• Tips & Gratuities

• Previous scooter/Vespa/motorcycle driving experience is required and mandatory: A driving test is conducted by the team before the tour to verify the real ability to drive and being confident on a Vespa. Any participant unable to drive scooters safely may ride double with the partner or won’t allowed to attend the tour. No refunds will be granted in these cases.
• A valid credit card for preauthorization is required as a guarantee in case of damages to vehicle. (No prepaid card | No American Express cards | No bancoposta)
• A driver’s license valid in Italy is required and must be presented upon arrival.
• Drivers must be at least 18 years old and passengers at least 15 years old
• The vehicle weighs 88kg (194lb)
• The height of the saddle from the ground is 81cm (2’). Not recommended for people smaller than 1,60m (5’3”)
• Max speed of the vehicle is 48km/h (29.82 mph) on flat roads / 15km/h (9.32 mph) on hills
• Vespa Primavera 50cc or Zip provided for the tour. Max weight on the Vespa50cc is recommended at 160 kg total (353 lbs)
