Crossing Borders: The Journey Begins

The sun was just beginning to rise as I found myself in the heart of The Gambia, ready to embark on a journey that promised to be both thrilling and enlightening. The Fathala Wildlife Safari, a full-day adventure from Gambia to Senegal, was calling my name. Our day began with a Land Rover ride to the Banjul to Barra ferry crossing. The ferry itself was a microcosm of life in The Gambia, bustling with locals and travelers alike.
