Excellent tour and driver - My wife and I were particularly looking forward to our this tour as we’d been told by many friends and acquaintances that the northwest region of Ireland was indescribably beautiful. They were right. Our drive through the Connemara region was filled with breathtaking views of crystal clear fjords backdropped by towering mountains topped with an unmistakably Irish mist, while in the foreground sheep roamed casually in their pastures, or on occasion ventured out into the narrow road to successfully challenge the approaching tour groups. Our new definition of the word picturesque is Connemara. We also stopped in the village of Cong where the film, “The Quiet Man” was filmed. Here we spent time on the grounds of the Cong Abbey where we were happily surprised by incredibly beautiful and serene environment located just a stones throw from the village proper. We could have easily spent a day here. Our driver, Tommy, was professional, polite, and clear with his expectations for site duration’s & departures. Beyond expertly navigating some very tight situations on the road (both motorized and four-legged), we greatly appreciated his narratives about the areas & towns we encountered along with a nice short-course on Irish history. We took a separate tour using this company earlier in the week and had a similar experience with that driver as well. Clearly this tour company values these driver qualities to the great benefit of its customers.

- Absolutely fantastic! Connemara national Park is the most beautiful place I've ever been to, and I've traveled to a lot of places. Kylemore Abbey is such a special and gorgeous place too. Cong is a waste of time though. Our tour guide (I think his name was Mike, who was an older gentleman with a great sense of humor) was a delight! I highly recommend this tour and the tour company.

Wonderful trip with Mike! - Had a great time on the Connemara, Cong, & Kylemore Abbey excursion from Galway on June 7th. Mike was a great tour guide, sharing so much of Ireland's history with us. And, you know, it is a complicated history! One thing that my friend and I appreciated was when Mike pulled over and invited the passengers to walk down this hill toward a lake. He picked us up at the bottom. The panorama over the valley and out to the lake was just spectacular--just like we envision Ireland to be--the beauty of the countryside--all that patchwork of greens! That was such a nice touch (the walk) and impressive that Mike thought to do it.

Way too much time on the bus - There is not enough time to visit the sights. Making the trip a little longer could be a solution. Now we had the feeling of being on the bus for more than half a day and did not outweigh the visits. Entrance kylmore Abbey should have been inclusive.
