The rigorous trek of the second day leads us to the splendid location of Ghorepani, introducing us to an enchanting detour to Poon Hill at an altitude of 3210m. As a renowned vantage point, Poon Hill offers breathtaking views of the grand Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range, coupled with awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets. The journey then takes us to our final destination, Annapurna Base Camp at 4130m, positioned amidst a panoramic 360-degree view of the Himalayan peaks. Post this unique experience, we descend to the Jhinu Danda hot spring, adding an extra touch of luxury to the trip. Here, trekkers can unwind in the naturally warm pool and bask in the beauty of nature. You’re not too old! - A group of 6 with average age of 69years planned and walked ABC via Poon Hill over 11 days. We had a brilliant guide- Arjun, and 3 terrific porters- Ram, Gale and Ganesh who made for a fun and easy and enjoyable trek. We loved everything- the views, the countryside, the teahouses, we were lucky with the weather, and we had incredible views of the mountains. We couldn’t have been happier.

ABC Poon Hill trek - Second time I've used NTE, both times excellent faultless service .
Just finished the Annapurna Base Camp Poon Hill trek. Our guide Arjun was exceptional and helpful right from the KTM airport till we got back to Pokhara. Our 3 porters Gale, Ram and Ganesh never stopped making our day with their enthusiastic and ever smiling faces.
The trek was fabulous and the views to die for.
I wouldn't use anyone else!

Amazing Annapurna base camp trek experience - My friend and I went with Nepal trekking experts on the Annapurna base camp trek. Being new both to Nepal and multi-day trekking, we decided to book both a guide (Prakash) and porter (Thakur) with them. This was the best decision! Prakash was super friendly, meeting us at the airport, guiding us both to the hotel and headquarters before the trek even began.
On the drive to Pokhara due to a landslide the drive was much longer than expected, but both he and Thakur went out of their way to get us some snacks!
On the trek itself, Prakash answered all our various questions about both the land, people and culture with depth and detail. Thakur was so cheerful and lovely company as well! He was eager to both learn and share stories which made the trip that much more enjoyable.
The trip itself was clearly well planned by a company with an extensive understanding of the area, but also had flexibility to allow for weather (rain) as well as our walking pace. We never felt rushed during the hikes, and we always had a place to stay and amazing food at the end of each day.
Rajesh, one of the amazing people behind the operation went above and beyond to help us. He accommodated our longer stay in Pokhara before returning to Kathmandu, booking our bus for us! He even suggested further areas of interest in Kathmandu, and helped with a booking private car.
Not to mention, his brother took us for a dinner first night in Kathmandu, all on them! It was a lovely experience.
Our time of Nepal will not only be defined by the cities, temples or Annapurna, but also of the amazing people and experiences that we encountered along the way, which is due undoubtedly in large part to Nepal trekking experts! Thank you again, hopefully we will be back!

An amazing adventure in Nepal with Nepal Trekking Experts - It was an extraordinary trek with exceptional support from the Nepal Trekking Experts agency. All stages of the trek and the Kathmadu and Pokhara tour were prepared perfectly and on time. Our friends from Nepal Trekking Experts led the group in such a way that everyone could reach their goal, no one was left in need, and there was a lot of fun throughout the trip.

ABC Nov 2024 - breathtaking views! - Rajesh and team were great! Rajesh is very responsive to our enquiries (about the trek, the conditions, gear etc!) and we were also able to customise our itinerary. Before the hike, Rajesh/team met us to brief us about the dos/donts and what to expect for the hike - for our first time in Nepal, this was reassuring.
On the hike, our guide Chandra was knowledgeable - he would proactively tell us about the various mountains that surround us. We learnt much about nepalese culture from him. During sections that we were a little unsure on our footing, he helped us get through them as well. Daily, he would brief us about what to expect for the next day and during the hike, he would stop us at various point to ensure we had enough water and rest.
Our porter Ram was helpful as well - everyday together with Chandra, they would be our point of contact for all matters such as the purchase of charging/ hot water/ meals. Despite the heavy bags, ram would enthusiastically point out sights to us too!
The views at ABC were breathtaking! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our journey and would highly recommend Rajesh and team for your adventures in Nepal.

Great holiday - had a great time. although the trek presents difficulties a time our super guide Ganesh took great care of us. we were lucky to have nice weather and mountain views in the monsoon season. Altogether a fantastic experience.

Annapurna late season - Trekking at the end of the season so wasn't sure what to expect. However Rajesh sorted everything great, and had an amazing time with my guide Basanta. These guys obviously know what they are doing and are looking to the future.

Great Experience - We did the Short Poon Hill Trek and it was excellent. The views of Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri from the top of Poon Hill were incredible. We got lucky to have good weather on the day of the Poon Hill hike. Prakash was an amazing guide and Padam and Chhwang were amazing porters. They taught us the Dumbal card game from Nepal and we played that a lot in the evenings. Rajesh was also very responsive and helpful before the trek started. Will definitely choose this company if I go back to Nepal for another trek.

A memorable first trek in Nepal! - Nepal Trekking Experts provided an incredible services to guide and plan our trek in the Annapurna circuit. We added Tilicho Lake to the itinerary as well. Rajesh was very patient in providing us with all the information via text or call right from the beginning. The team was incredibly organised and thoughtful, defining the experience as exceptional from the first day. Our guide, Gautam, spoke good English and Hindi, supported us thoroughly throughout the challenging trek. He gave us tips on how to walk on steep ascends and descends. Our porter, Arjun, was ever so attention to our needs. The stays at the tea houses were extremely comfortable with attached baths and breathtaking views. Our feedback was asked about every meal and every stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to anyone who wants to do a trek in Nepal, the team is awesome and accommodates your itinerary to suit your travel plans. Thank you, Rajesh, Gautam and Arjun.
