A 30-minute drive west from Thamel brings visitors to Chandragiri. The thrilling hiking trail begins next to the cable car station and winds through a lush, dense jungle. The trail starts with a steep ascent, taking approximately 3 hours to reach the hilltop. The viewpoint, located at 2520 meters, offers stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley and the majestic Himalayan surroundings. During the hike, there is a wonderful opportunity to observe various bird species and flora and fauna.
