• Great Sphinx of Giza - Next we drive to the great Sphinx. The Sphinx represents a lying lion with a human head.
  The Sphinx was probably erected around 2520 to 2494 BC. Pay attention to the ears, there you can still see paint residues that suggest that the Sphinx was painted in color.

• The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - is the world’s largest museum of ancient Egyptian art and culture and is located on Al-Tahirr Square in downtown Cairo. It was built in 1900 and the opening then took place in 1902. With more than 150,000 artifacts, it now houses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian art and culture.

The museum extends over two floors with over 100 rooms. Below is a small excerpt of the finds that you can admire in the museum.
