- Menkaure Pyramid - Adjacent to Khufu’s pyramid are the second and third pyramids, constructed for Pharaoh Khafre and his successor Menkaure. Khafre’s pyramid still showcases some of its original smooth casing stones near the top, offering a rare glimpse into the monuments’ original appearance. Be sure to observe the alignment between Khafre’s pyramid and the nearby Sphinx.
- Panoramic view of the Pyramids - This elevated location provides the best wide-angle view of all three pyramids together, making it perfect for photos and drone-like shots. It also serves as the starting point for camel rides and offers peaceful moments away from the crowds.
Visitors will have time here for photography and optional guided insights.
- Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Start your unique day tour with a visit to Saqqara, one of the largest and most extraordinary cemeteries of ancient Egypt. This is where the foundations of pyramid building began, and where visitors can explore the renowned Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever constructed and the earliest stone monument in the world, designed by the legendary architect Imhotep.
The journey continues with a visit inside the Pyramid of Teti and the Tomb of King Unas, both featuring beautifully inscribed burial chambers that are among the most spectacular of all accessible pyramids. From there, explore the intriguing Serapeum of Saqqara, the sacred burial site of the Apis bulls, revered as living manifestations of the god Ptah. The site, dating back to the reign of Amenhotep III, holds profound historical and spiritual significance.
