Amazing visit of Pyramides - It was a fascinating experience. The site offers a unique look at six pyramides whose origins are still debated today. The visit also includes an Eco Garden with plants from different continents, a Poison Garden with toxic and medicinal species, and a short 15-minute documentary explaining the theories behind the pyramids. Overall, it’s an interesting and peaceful place to explore, perfect for anyone curious about culture, nature, or Tenerife’s lesser-known history. Our guide Michael was very nice and passionate, he toled us lot of interesting things!

Piramids of Güímar with guide Michael - Our team from Canary Green joined the tour at the Pyramids and it was an outstanding experience. Michael, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, making the visit both educational and enjoyable. A fantastic place to learn about the history and culture of Tenerife.💚

Very good time - Great family visit. We took the audio guide which was very helpful, we would have missed a lot of information if we had not had it. The site is very beautiful, quiet (few people even in August), and very well maintained. Children (6 and 10 years old) also liked it.

Super discovery 😊 - The ethnographic park is beautifully landscaped, with very informative thematic trails (including ancient civilizations and transoceanic travel), and the exhibits are of high quality. The staff is welcoming and speaks very good French. The toxic garden is nickel. The price is correct and satisfactory for the quality of this open-air museum.

A manual wheelchair access review (uk) - My partner has a manual wheelchair with smart drive attachment. The was a blue badge space right in front of the entrance which were lucky enough to get. There are smooth access paths throughout the site. One of the ticket ladies very patiently explained the site with a map, and provided times to be at certain places. Even following the recommended direction, there were 2 short sharp slopes which we slowly reversed down with the brakes on, and one long slope where I pushed but the smart drive did the hard work. Overall, I would say, this is worth the challenges presented. Very few ancient sites have this level of accessibility, and for us this was a great day out. It surpassed our expectations in its beauty. The staff were very attentive to wheelchair users. The cafe has accessible toilets. The cafe was very well priced compared to other tourist sites, and we loved how quiet it was there (very few people on a Wednesday).

Surprisingly fun - Occasionally you have things to do where you don't have too high expectations and then they are surprisingly fun. Well this one fits perfectly in this category. Very informative. Not just about this pyramid, but all about pyramids worldwide, the original inhabitants and about the ocean sailors. Nice setup. Lovely walk with beautiful vegetation. Separate garden with poisonous plants. Definitely recommended. Advice to go for the premium ticket.

Great documentary and interesting site - This is a fascinating place to visit so you can see and do something different in Tenerife. The documentary was especially worthwhile, because you learned a lot about Thor Heyerdal and about these pyramids and their connections to other pyramids in the world. There was quite a bit of information around, which was good but honestly too much to take in. I didn't like the difference between the premium and regular tickets. I think it should be one price for everything, not least because the premium ticket was made out to be so much better, but in the end it involved a quick timed look at a very small tropical flowers area and a wander through the poison garden. It wasn't worth the extra cost really. Besides the documentary, the best part was walking around the pyramids and enjoying the views.

Reasonable museum and disappointing pyramids - The pyramids were a bit disappointing. The number of 6 is also a question. A lot of stuff in the mueseum that came from somewhere else and didn't have so much to do with Tenerife. We walked around wonderfully and the staff were very nice. The movie, which was supposed to play at noon, was recommended, but we skipped it. The gardens that you can also visit were not exactly worth it either. We also had more for the salamanders we encountered everywhere.

A beautiful scam very expensive! to avoid absolutely! - Even if Thor Heyerdahl saw traces of ancient civilizations and transoceanic contacts in the pyramids of Güímar, this is not true! These very recent pyramids are in fact 19th century agricultural terraces built in the lucrative context of caterpillar farming; this is attested by local archaeologists. From there, we do not accept very much the mystification in which the museum embarks us by a sustained extrapolation to countless inter-civilizational contacts, real or supposed. It goes in all directions and borders on historical imposture. It would have been infinitely more interesting to learn more about this breeding of caterpillars that took place on these terraces as well as about ancient agriculture and the life of the guanches ... Besides, the park is not really well maintained; signs placed in the wrong places. The botanical garden is very disappointing and the part dedicated to dangerous plants reduced to little. And the icing on the cake: the smoothies were absolutely terrible!

Lacking in substance, with extremely suspicious historical analysis - Truly terrible. Not a single actual artifact and no scientific or historical basis for many of the claims. The focus on a white race of "civilisation bringers" was outdated, lacking in fact, and very suspect! Do not pay extra to go to the tropical garden or Polynesian bit, it's rubbish. The best bit was seeing a chicken and her chicks wandering around.
