Canterbury/Dover must visit places! - Christian and Liam were excellent guides and really provided excellent historical information as well as information on the local areas. It was also good that it was a small group. Canterbury Cathedral is a must visit- so much history. Dover was great but a bit difficult with a bad back - still worth a visit.
Would recommend GoTours to everyone visiting Uk

Loved our tour - Excellent tour! Our guide, Kevin, picked us promptly on time. As we headed out towards our first stop, he provided riveting historical details about sights in London as we passed. Kevin had a generous sense of humor that enlivened our trip to Canterbury. He also answered all of our questions. Traffic was lighter than normal through the day so we were able to view a couple of extra sites such as the Dover castle, which is magnificent.
Being in a smaller coach and able to navigate the road construction along the way was helpful as well. We saw all the sights and returned to our point of origination on time. Superb trip and services!

Lovely day in Canterbury, Deal and Cliffs of Dover. Highly recommend this tour!! - Great tour guide Kevin! Gave us tons of good information about more topics than just what was on the tour. Saw lots and had enough time at each stop to actually see something! Loved the small van instead of a big bus!!

He was so upbeat and fun. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day at the cliffs.

Friendly driver indeed, beautiful scenery. - Had a great time. David had lots of interesting facts and stories. This isn't a guided tour so ensure you plan what you want to do at each destination. Our driver did suggest things we could do and places we could eat which was useful. Had a good playlist too.

Great to see - The tour was great and the guide was perfect. We learned a lot of interesting and historical facts in a fun way and the guide knew his way around. The only thing i woild have liked to have was more free time we had when we arrived to any of the destinations. It just felt like we were on a tight scedulee and didnt have enough time to enyoj the attactions (around 1,5 to 2 hours was each stop).Otherwise it was a beautifull experience we will not forget.

Pros, Cons, & Overall Experience - Positives:
- Canterbury is stunning, the Cathedral is amazing, and the town itself is adorable.
- Deal was lovely - it was so nice to see the ocean and walk along the rocky beach. We got lunch just a few mins from our drop off point at a community center in a historic church called the Landmark Cafe. We ate a simple, but yummy lunch in the courtyard/graveyard. There was great service. Then we checked out some of the charity shops on the same road, which is always fun.
- The Cliffs were lovely (keep in mind these are not the Seven Sisters, so they're not as impactful, but still beautiful!), and there's a lovely bookshop comprised of donated books at the Cliff shop to explore.
Negatives:
- NOT enough time in Canterbury (the tour at the Cathedral alone takes 75 minutes)
- Going on a Tuesday meant that many of the shops in Canterbury/Deal were closed (something to keep in mind if you like browsing the local gift shops and things)
- At the Cliffs, there was not enough time to do the longer trek (40 minutes there and 40 minutes back) to see the lighthouse, so we did the 20 minute trek to one spot and 20 mins back, but then there was too much time spent waiting around to go back; we also would have loved to do Dover Castle, as it is stunning, but again, not enough time/the tour did not go there.
Overall, this was a great exploratory tour to figure out what parts of England you might want to explore more. We felt like we had enough time at the Cliffs and seeing Deal was just a bonus. We will definitely go back to Canterbury, so I didn't feel that not having enough time was too stressful.
Shout out to our driver, Kevin, who tackles London traffic and those tiny back roads of rural England like a pro. He had lots of entertaining tales as well.
A note of accessibility for users: the seats of the bus are quite small (my hips are 52 inches wide) and I require a seatbelt extender, which is provided.
