- West Kennet Long Barrow - Your Tour Manager will take you up a hill to see a 5000 year old Neolithic tomb. You can go inside this ancient burial site and see the mysterious Silbury hill across the valley. (Not suitable for wheelchairs.)

A short trip into a deep history - Cool dry spring day for a well-organized tour of Stonehenge, Avebury and a long burrow, each stop adding to the adventure. Our guide was both funny and knowledgeable about all of the stops, while not drowning us in detail. She demonstrated her knowledge especially when asked a question. The trip was spot on time and as advertised. It fulfilled our dream to experience Stonehenge and surroundings as those thousands of years ago might have. We are grateful to a few stewards through the years and English Heritage today for protecting and preserving this reach back to pre-Christian times and the humility it adds to our own footsteps in time.

Interesting and fun - It was a great day out, very well led by Richard. Learned lots of interest about these magical ancient stone structures and he made it fun too.

No need to use any other tour company - Small tours (not massive buses), friendly and helpful customer service. Our guide was great. A budding actor, willing to go the extra mile for our comfort and enjoyment

Great Tour - Richard was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide and Antonio was a great driver, weaving through traffic.
I visited Stonehenge in 1972 but didn’t visit the other sites then and enjoyed the other Neolithic sites. We would highly recommend the tour.

Very entertaining and informative tour. - Thank you Anderson Tours, and especially Nick, who was an entertaining and informative guide and George, our very safe and punctual driver for the day. The tour itinerary was well planned with a perfect amount of time at each stop. I really appreciated all the tips shared by Nick for things to explore during free time and also where to go and have lunch.
I had never heard about the Stone Circles of Avebury before booking the tour and really enjoyed learning about their history and how they have informed us about life during the Neolithic era. Very happy to tick off Stonehenge from my list and Nick was great at pointing out all the different photo locations so I could really capture the day.

Nic was the best tour guide. If you have him then you will be knowledgeable 👀. - Nick Lautman or sexy Nick (He goes by many names)is so nice, kind, gentle,generous, knowledgeable, quirky, and nice again. For me he is in the Nick GOAT debate. He has some competition tooo. Nick fury, Nick Jonas, Nicklaus jackson, Nicolas cage and so many more. With all these guys Nick is the best. He guided me everywhere. Now he is a wise man with so much knowledge. For example, I asked him what kind of soil was at Stonehenge. He knew and told me everything. If he knew that I am willing to bet on him knowing anything. He kept me engaged at all times. If you have Nick you are in for a wild ride 🐅🐯. I recommend touring with Anderson and ask for Nick. I have attached a picture of him to insure you know it is Nick.
Ps: if you have Nick ask him about his special arm dancing.

Absolutely wonderful day.... - Absolutely wonderful day. Nick, our guide, was so much fun and very engaging! Our driver George was amazing and along for the crazy ride! The coach was always where he said it would be and our belongings were kept safe!

Totally Worth It. - It was a thoroughly joyful and entertaining tour. And that includes the time on the road listening to the expertise and talented delivery of tour guide Nick Lautman and the driver (apologies, I forgot his name). I would definitely do it again with them.

Super interesting trip! - Super interesting trip from start to finish. Stonehenge and Avebury are fascinating places, and the wonderful and knowledgeable guides, Nick and Kirstin, really added to the experience by sharing all the background and stories about it. Highly recommended.

All the places we went on... - All the places we went on the tour were great, and it was a nice surprise to go to woodhenge. The tour was run very well and it was an easy and comfortable way to get to the sites. Nick was super friendly and great with the kids. For our tastes we would have preferred less entertainment, and more historical context about the sites & time left to ourselves to wander around.
