Day 1: Sapa – Lao Chai San Long Trek – Ethnic People Homestay (Meals Included: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner)
Hanoi - Night 1: Guests are welcomed at Hanoi Bus Station to board the overnight bus to Sapa at 21:30. Upon arrival at 5:30 am, a driver will greet you at the bus station and take you to Sapa. Arriving in Sapa town early in the morning, you can refresh and enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Sapa - At 5:45 am: Arrive at Sapa bus station at dawn. A shuttle will transfer you to Sapa town for breakfast and a quick refresh. Experience the crisp mountain air, with its fog and cool temperatures.
Lao Chai - From 8:00 am: Begin trekking from Sapa towards Lao Chai San. This elevated route offers a “bird’s-eye view” of the terraced golden fields. The path is quieter and more rugged, with Lao Chai San often referred to as the “hidden crown jewel” of the Muong Hoa Valley.
Noon: Stop in the heart of Lao Chai San for a unique picnic lunch. This meal is more than just food; it’s a sensory experience that captures the essence of trekking in Sapa. Away from the hustle of crowded restaurants, this “open-air dining room” provides a front-row seat to nature’s splendor.
Afternoon: Continue the journey through the stunning rice fields, eventually reaching the serene village of Lao Chai San. Unlike the main trails, you won’t encounter crowds of vendors. The only sounds are the wind through the cornfields, the distant chime of buffalo bells, and the greetings of local children.
Lao Chai - Evening: Enjoy a special dinner with local ethnic people. Dining with a local family in Lao Chai San is the emotional highlight of the trek. It marks the transition from being a tourist to becoming a guest, welcomed into the warm embrace of a Black H’mong home as the mountain mist settles outside.
Day 2: Lao Chai San Village - Long Trek to Ta Van Village - Departing Hanoi by Limousine Bus (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Ta Van Village - The journey begins as the first rays of sunlight pierce through the mountain mist, awakening the sleepy ridges of Lao Chai San. This part of the trek, leading down towards Ta Van, offers a beautiful transition from the rugged heights to the lush, riverside life of the valley. The path often winds through cool, emerald-green bamboo forests, where the sound of rustling leaves and occasional bird calls create a peaceful, meditative atmosphere.
Upon arrival in Sapa center, guests can take a short shower at the hotel before departing back to Hanoi. Enjoy lunch and relax until 13:30, when the guide will escort you to the bus station for the limousine bus journey back to Hanoi with the group.
Around 21:00, the bus stops at the meeting point at 204 Tran Quang Khai, from where you can make your way to your hotel. The trip concludes here.
