Interesting. - We took a tour of the archipelago. Nice relaxing and not at all heavy. It gave us another view of the area.

Helsinki boat tour - Very enjoyable experience on a 1.5hr boat ride around the islands. Interesting to see the local houses, boats, beaches, etc. Weather was beautiful. Sunny and 21C. Everyone sits on top of the boat. They do have drinks, beer and wine. And they have a water closet. The boat departs from the very active city center waterfront area which is the place you want to be anyway.

Much of Helsinki and surroundings seen in a short time with multilingual explanation, friendly staff, has become overall - We really liked the 90-minute canal ride. You have seen a lot in the short time, on the one hand of the modern city of Helsinki, on the other hand of the beautiful surroundings on the Baltic Sea coast. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Boarding worked out without any problems with our tickets purchased in advance via Tiqets. On the one hand, visitors were informed about sights along the route via leaflets (in at least five different languages, including English, German and Chinese), and on the other hand via loudspeaker announcements in Finnish, English, German and Swedish. ES had a cafe and proper toilets on board.

Canal tour - Probably the most relaxing and scenic boat tour I've ever had. Perfect summers day in helsinki, onboard a very chilled and breezy cruise through the lush green canal. So worth it

A relaxed evening cruise - A pleasant cruise with commentaries in both English and Finnish about the sights we saw. As it was summer, 5:30 pm or later cruise, would be a great treat (I took the 5:30 pm cruise). If you're planning to take an earlier cruise during summer, it can be very hot.

Great tour that covers the waterways of Helsinki - I read reviews that stated you couldn’t hear the commentary over the loud speaker but we thought it was great- it is not a live explanation of what you are saying and also it is narrated in four languages. However we enjoyed this boat trip as it allowed us to see Helsinki in a different light and also learn a bit more about its role in securing Helsinki. The tour also was only 90 minutes long so perfect for us to get a feel for Helsinki from the waterways.

Archipelago cruise - It is somewhat difficult to clearly hear the commentary. Nonetheless I enjoyed the views of the islands, vacation homes and the small narrow canal and its history. Thank you.

- Super hot spells in Helsinki. Nice way to stay cooler and see the Beautifulf 300 islands. Boat had top seating and bottom I used both grateful. I was on top but moved to bottom. To hot and viewing was just as good down stairs. Nice refreshment counter with great variety. Staff were all very kind.
