Join the guide at the Cretan Spiti Travel terminal, located opposite the entrance of the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, in front of Hari’s Creperie, at 11:30 to commence the tour of the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. This museum is the second largest in Greece, following the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. The tour starts with the earliest discoveries from Crete, dating back to 6000 BC, and includes the highlights of the Minoan palaces of Knossos, Phaistos, Malia, and Zakros. It also features artifacts from cemeteries, shrines, and residences, concluding with the stunning Minoan frescoes of Knossos. Return to the Cretan Spiti Travel terminal is scheduled for 13:30.
