A full day adventure on bikes, boats, and trains at two of Japan’s must-see destinations. Starting the day on two wheels, experience a thought-provoking and sensitive commentary on the history of Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park and Castle. From here, take a local train and ferry to Miyajima Island, where you can enjoy the contrast between with the stunning Shinto buildings and lush greenery of the island. Once on the island, you will learn about the culture of the island, explore the sites with your guide, greet the local deer, enjoy a regional lunch (vegetarian options are available but for other dietary requirements please get in touch), and discover the famous Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima City in the manner you arrived and get evening recommendations from your neighbourhood guide.

Great and informative tour - We had a very enjoyable day and the guide Ishan had very good English and an extensive knowledge of the history of Hiroshima. There is not a lot of bike riding and we would have liked to do more however otherwise a well organised tour with a great lunch.

Great way to see the area - Great way to see the Peace Park area of Hiroshima and Miyajima shrine. Our guide Alex was excellent and timed our visit to Miyajima so that we saw the Tori gate at high tide. Cycling around Hiroshima was a great way to see many of the sites and hear the history. Would highly recommend!

Bike tour with Alex - Had a great day with Alex. Very pleasant and very knowledgeable guide. Made our stay in Hiroshima very informative and we leave better informed than we would have been without the tour

Bike Tour - This tour was a great way to see Hiroshima and Miyajima. There is an e bike option as well. Awais was our guide and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Great tour and great tour guide - This was a great tour and Alex was a great guide. It was particularly fun to go by bicycle despite the cold weather. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hiroshima especially with a limited amount of time.

Cycle Hiroshima bike tour - Our guide, Aimee Linh was amazing. We booked late, 2 days before our tour. It was Jan 2, 2026 and the weather was cold and sunny and then later in the day it snowed, it was fantastic. Aimee toured us through the city by bike eventually catching a subway train to the ferry to catch a boat to Miyajima Island. Aimee's knowledge of the island and Buddhism gave us a much greater indepth knowledge of what we were seeing and experiencing. She showed us parts of the Island that you would never find wandering around on your own. We then took the ferry boat back to Hiroshima and continued our bike tour through the Peace park and visited several monuments. Aimee was so knowledgeable and made the tour a life experience that my wife and I will never forget. Thanks again Aimee!

A must-do experience in Hiroshima. - This tour was without question one of the highlights of our time in Japan and a real must-do if you’re visiting Hiroshima. Our guide, Awais, was absolutely outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire day.
The itinerary was perfectly paced, giving us time to truly take in the significance of Hiroshima’s history while also enjoying the beauty of Miyajima. Visiting key sites such as the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, and other monuments was deeply moving, and Awais shared the history with great sensitivity, insight, and clarity.
He was also excellent at the practical details — clear communication beforehand, making sure everyone was comfortable, and ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Nothing felt rushed, and questions were always welcomed.
This was a fascinating, respectful, and genuinely memorable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Hiroshima.

Best day in Hiroshima - Fantastic tour of Hiroshima! Our tour guide Awais was really friendly and knowledgeable and let us take the time to see so much and give very insightful history and answer all our questions. Highly recommend! And the bikes were fun!
