• Cape Queen Elizabeth - Begin the island adventure with a breathtaking hike showcasing stunning coastal views along the Cape Queen Elizabeth trail. Although the full walk isn’t completed today, the journey to Mars Bluff, Miles Beach, and the unique rock formations is. The first 30-40 minutes offer an easy stroll along a wide, sandy track through coastal heathland, passing between Big Lagoon and Little Lagoon, home to numerous water birds. A 10-minute uphill hike over Mars Bluff provides a beautiful coastal vantage point. Descend onto the secluded Miles Beach to explore the unique rock formations, with ample time to enjoy and photograph the Arch before returning to the trail’s start. The walk covers approximately 6 kilometers and is rated as easy to moderate coastal walking.
• Truganini Lookout - The next stop on the Bruny adventure is the isthmus connecting North and South Bruny Island, known as The Neck, where Truganini Lookout is located. Climb 279 stairs to the top for fantastic views! Take a moment to explore and spot penguin burrows among the sand dunes.
• Adventure Bay - Continuing from The Neck, visit Two Tree Point, Resolution Creek, and Coal Point for some local history before arriving at Adventure Bay. As the main hub of Bruny Island, Adventure Bay is the perfect spot for a lunch break. Relax on the beach with some free time and your own lunch, or join the tour guide for lunch at Bruny Island Cruises Seafood Restaurant, a wonderful beachfront location.
• Bruny Island Chocolate Company - After lunch, regroup for a leisurely afternoon exploring Bruny Island’s renowned artisan produce. Visit Bruny Island Chocolate Company, an award-winning chocolate company specializing in handmade cream fudges and chocolate products.
• Bruny Island Honey - The next stop is Bruny Island Honey, where you can enjoy free tastings of the island’s natural honey and delicious honey ice cream. The tasting journey continues at Bruny Island Cheese Co., an artisan cheese-maker and brewer offering cellar door tastings, and Get Shucked Oyster Farm, which produces oysters in the pristine waters of Great Bay.

After a day filled with stunning scenery, seafood, beaches, and delightful tastes, return to Hobart around 5:00 pm.
