Must try - My guide Daniel was really flexible and tailored the tour based on my needs, we visited the mausoleum in the morning and then showed me a traditional Vietnamese house with a lot of stories behind. Finally we tried local coconut coffee at a wonderful hidden place I never would have found on my own. The English spoken was very good and I am happy to have helped someone improve their skills. I really recommend this experience!

A very exciting city - Silky was our guide who took us on a delightful tour of Hanoi we started at sunrise to see the city come to life which was a great way, seeing people do Fai Chi and then it moved into the rush hour traffic moped central - wow I’ve never seen so many. We seen some great cultural sites such as the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh and the cathedral. this was a great introduction to a very exciting city. Thank you to Hanoi Free Tours and Silky our charming guide.

Super Fabulous Service and Amazing Memory - From Tiktok I saw about " Hanoi Free Private Tour Guide " and i decided to contact to guide me at Hanoi on 24 Dec 2025. Vietnam Trip ( Sapa & Hanoi ) as My Birthday Reward to Myself.
I got birthday gift from Rachel as guide during Hanoi Sightseeing.
Very grateful to Rachel for introducing me to Vietnamese culture and the superb walking tour Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple Literature Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám, Famous Train Street, Hanoi Opera House,Hoan Kiem Lake, St Joseph's Cathedral and Lunch at Bun Cha Obama ( Bun Cha Huong Lien ).
At Hanoi Opera House, I met with group of mature women age around 60 - 84. They gathering took photo to celebration birthday one of old women age 84. She was same birthday date with Me at Dec 23th. So me 44th and her 84 different generation and different country met Hanoi Opera House sing Happy Birthday together.

Best value tour ever - Our guide Hera, was magnificent. We walked and talked for hours. When it was too far, she organised a grab car. So much knowledge and personality. We enjoyed every moment with her.

Best Early Morning Old Quarter Tour - Had a wonderful tour with my guide, Rosie (Trinh Hong Nhung)!

Day well spent in Hanoi city .. - I had booked a solo tour as I had only a day to spend in Vietnam . Tour guide Phuong Linh guided me in the city tour and she was very good . I was comfortable communicating with her . Looking forward to visit Hanoi in the coming year and will book again for the private tour .Thank you so much !

Louisa gave us an excellent local tour - Me and my partner went on a morning tour with Louisa to the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Temple of Literature. She was very knowledgeable and shared plenty of local customs which you wouldn't find out if you went there by yourself. I can really recommend.

Amazing start into the day with Nhung - It was an awesome experience. We organized an early morning walking tour to see the flag rising on a very short notice and couldn’t be happier with our guide Nhung, the insights and the opportunity to understand and learn about the local culture and customs as well as the history of Vietnam. In total, the tour was about 3 hours.
I would join a free tour with this organization again when I am revisiting Hanoi. The concept of having a guided tour to help locals to practice English is fantastic. It creates a win-win constellation.
