Such a great day in Faial! - We had such a wonderful day in Faial with Ramiro! Even though we only had a short day coming from Pico, we felt like we saw so much and got the best experience from a real local. The views were absolutely incredible, and definitely worth the short ferry ride from Pico!

Great tour! - Wonderful experience! Ramiro is an amazing local guide with great stories and welcoming personality. He masterfully timed the tour to show the island with beautiful sites and pointed out hidden treasures. Ramiro is a local, and it was obvious he was incredibly proud (and rightfully so!) of the island and its heritage. He was flexible with scheduling, as the originally planned time did not work out, so we basically ended up on a private tour. The stops were well-timed to see and explore. Highly recommend this amazing experience!

Great morning seeing the... - Great morning seeing the sights of Faial with Ramiero. Very interesting and beautiful views on our trip including first hand stories about the history tied in to seeing the volcanos. We really enjoyed this trip.

Excellent Experience! - Our half day tour trip with Ramiro was excellent. Ramiro contacted us the day before to confirm pickup time. He was punctual, extremely polite, accommodating and very knowledgeable as a resident of Faial Island. It was supposed to be a semi-private tour but we were his only tourists of the day so it turned into a private tour and as such we spent extra time at places that interested us. Definitely a great tour to see and learn everything about Faial! Romiro even dropped us off wherever we needed to go at the end of the tour and sent us a list of places to visit the following day in our rental car on Pico. Great guy and R Azores Tours is highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed!

Knowledgeable Local Guide, Amazing tour! - Ramiro was INCREDIBLE! He knew so much about the island and gave us great insight into the history as well as the local’s experience. He gave us plenty of time to explore the sites on our own and gave us suggestions for how to get the most out of each experience. I would highly recommend this tour - one of our top experiences in the Azores!

A Great Introduction to Faial - Ramiro was an excellent host. Just 6 of us in the tour, a good number to get involved with the others and with Ramiro. Faial is a beautiful island with an interesting history. I strongly recommend this tour.

A pile of crap. - What a pile of rubbish. Van never turned up at pick up point. Stole my money and won’t refund. Corrupt criminal business.
