Great experience - The balloon flight was not possible due to weather conditions. The rest was well organized. Our guide Mustafa was absolutely top class. If the reimbursement of the unreceived balloon flight works out like the rest, we will give the highest grade.

Awesome day out .. memories made - From booking to actually going we were kept up to date with everything & the trip was the highlight of our holiday…. Mahmoud picked us up at 11pm & drove us thru the night arriving in Luxor at 3.45 am …. I’m a terrible passenger but I slept well during the trip.. Breakfast at Africa Roof top restaurant overlook the Nile & the cities skyline all to ourselves at that time of the morning the food was excellent freshly cooked & prepared on our arrival. Balloon bus picked us up at 5 & we went to the balloon site which is organised chaos but you soon realise that these guys have it all in hand & everyone is taken care of The balloon ride itself was amazing & the views blew my mind loved it After we were dropped outside a cafe where we met Samira our guide for the day who was professional & friendly throughout, didn’t just guide but immersed you in the history & culture of her land … a very proud Egyptian lady & rightly so it’s a beautiful country I opted out of the Alabaster & perfume factory’s so we went strait to the Bally of the kings then onto another 2 temples after which we ate lunch at another rooftop restaurant & although small plates it was enough for e & the food was tasty , we then went onto our nileboattrip & again Samira’s luv for her surroundings shone thru as she kept us informed of the buildings we were passing After this we swapped drivers (not cars) & enjoyed a seamless 3 hr drive back to Hurghada….. Legacy tours should be applauded for putting together a team that created memories for us & are gracious enough to share their knowledge with us as tourists…. Their team are an absolute credit too themselves & Egypt

A memorable experience - Perfect in the organization. Punctuality and courtesy from people. A special note to the guide who with an excellent Italian and with an uncommon expertise illustrated all the monuments visited. Recommended for all Italians who like me are unfamiliar with the English language.

Amazing sites and great driver and guide. - We chose a 2 day trip to Luxor instead of 1 day to be less hectic. Our driver, Mohammed, was great, picked us up on time, drove smoothly and was friendly and keen to help in any way. Our guide, Samira, was very amiable, knowledgeable, and helpful. She made entry to the various sites run smoothly and effortlessly. The sites were amazing and, because the hot air balloon ride couldn’t happen, we saw additional sites and had an extra, personal, boat ride. The people on the boats all made those experiences fun, including getting our son to help steer. I'm glad we didn't do the Nile cruise holiday we originally thought we wanted as we saw the coach loads of tourists turning up en masse and then piling through the areas. Our personal tour was a much better way to experience these amazing places and soak up the atmosphere. There wasn't much variation in the food at lunches and dinner but everyone was very friendly, helpful and accomodating and the food was nice. Drinks were extra but they were reasonably priced. The hotel was a comfortable place to sleep and served an adequate breakfast. The tour was very good value for money. The only downsides for us were the stops at the perfume place after lunch on the first day and at the alabaster factory after the Valley of the Kings. I buy essential oils at home and the prices were higher at the perfumery than I would pay back home. Again, at the alabaster factory the prices were very high. We spent too much on the items we bought: the small stone horus canopic jar cost us over £60 yet we paid £5 for a very nicely engraved and finished large scarab beetle from an old man outside the tombs at the Valley of the Artisans. I feel sick at what we paid at the factory - avoid it. Overall, a fantastic experience. Thank you 😊

An exceptional day in Luxor - The whole experience, from our hotel collection in Hurghada, the transport to and from Luxor, the local restaurants that we were taken to, the 4star hotel by the Nile and the various places we visited during the day made our Luxor experience truly exceptional. And then you have Samira, our expert guide that gave us a hugely in-depth explanation of everything we visited. Truly an unforgettable experience so we would highly recommend anyone wanting to visit Luxor choosing this trip.

Great Experience - We took this tour as a family and had a great experience. Professor Ahmed El Sisi is very knowledgeable on Egyptian history and explained it all well. It was planned well with enough time to cover the attractions. Highly recommended!!!

Stunning views in the balloon. Fantastic tour with a really knowledgeable guide - We had an amazing time on this trip. The balloon ride was stunning and you saw so much of the landscape of Luxor and the tombs and temples. Our tour guide Professor Ahmed Elsisi was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable on Ancient Egypt history and enthusiastic about the subject. He made the tour very engaging with stories and questions to get you thinking, so you really feel you are learning something, which made you gain more from things you see in the tombs as you go in with an understanding of the drawing and texts. Would highly recommend.

Luxor Temples and sunrise hot air balloon. - Our guide Egyptologist and professor Ahmed Elsisi at Luxor city took us on a fantastic tour of Luxor, the temples and a boat ride on the Nile. His guidance and expertise made the entire experience a trip to remember forever. Trust me you will be very pleased to share his company for 20 hours of Egypt's history. We will definitely be booking more days again together on our return. The sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor was spectacular. As good as it is in the pictures.

Luxor's Jewels with Heart & (Skill) Mind - We have been picked up as a family of four with two children (7/9 years) in an air-conditioned car on Hurghada directly from our hotel. The trip to Luxor went smoothly and was completed after about 3h. On the way there was also some s to see. The drive through the desert and the mountains were very interesting (for us Central Europeans, who do not know anything like this). In Luxor we were warmly welcomed by our guide Mostafa Mohammed. We (and our otherwise rather shy children) liked Mostafa immediately. We then drove for dinner to a typical local restaurant where we were served very tasty food. Then we went to check in at the hotel (view from the balcony of the Nile and the west bank of the Nile, on which is also the Valley of the Kings). On the way to the hotel we asked if it was possible to visit the Luxor temple in the evening, as it is very nicely lit in the evening. Mostafa made it possible for us immediately and offered us to continue a carriage ride through Luxor. Both were also highly recommended and gave us a deep insight into the culture and life in this millennia-old city on the Nile. The next morning we went before sunrise to the launch site of the balloon tour over the Valley of the Kings, which we also booked. As we were about to get into the basket and take off, however, it had to be cancelled at the last minute due to dangerous winds. Very sad, because the children were very much looking forward to it. However, nobody can help the weather. Mostafa immediately took care of everything organizational, so our day could otherwise continue as planned. We visited the Valley of the Kings we visited the tombs of the Pharaohs Ramses III, IV & IX. All three were a recommendation from our guide and were absolutely impressive. 😊👍🏻Thank you Then we continued to the temple of Hatshepsut, the Memnon Colossi (which actually belonged to the Temple of the Dead of Amenothep III -> as we learned thanks to Mostafa) This was followed by a visit to the HABU temple (Ramses III) and the monumental Karnak temple (~> several pharaohs built the largest temple complex in the world here over a total of more than two thousand years ->must see) In between, we had a delicious lunch at a restaurant right on the west bank of the Nile and a relaxed boat trip to the east bank of the Nile in a hatchback. We would do it again and again. We say thank you to Mostafa for the unforgettable moments.
