Amazing!!! Definitely Recommend!! - We (family of 3) usually book water/snorkeling excursions, but our 11yo son really wanted to see the monkeys so we booked this.
Amazing is an understatement and its all due to our tour guide - Junior Gomez! He made our day incredible!
He took us to the Chocolate Factory, Monkey Home, through the city of Puerto Plata, and then to the upper scenic view of the city.
We felt so safe with Junior and he took us directly where to go in the city and even took pictures of us so we could hold on to these memories. This is an excursion for the whole family.
I cannot say enough good things - the pictures and smiles tell it all!
Thank you Junior for such a great day!!
We stayed at a resort but this would be perfect for a cruise excursion as well. Junior stayed right at the 5 hr timeline.

Our flight was delayed... - Our flight was delayed and they still accommodated us and let us do the tour despite it being much later then our scheduled time. Jerry was our tour guide and he was great. We really enjoyed our tour of monkey home and interacting with the movies. It was like we had our own private tour and they allowed us to play with monkeys until we were tired. Everyone was nice and super friendly. Also, we enjoyed our tour of the city and learning it's history. This was a great experience and a highlight of my trip playing with the monkeys.

The tour is part of the... - The tour is part of the taxi company they set you up with a driver who took just our family around. We stayed at the monkey house which was so fun. We were not rushed did the tour then shopping then we were off for the city tour. Took us around downtown areas then to a great view above the city. Finished at the chocolate factory with samples a tour and shop to buy some yummy chocolate. He let us go at our own pace at every place and would have taken us anywhere else we were interested in. It was a great day and great time.

Amazing experience - We had a great time with Yeury, super friendly, since we arrived he offered us a super complete deal, the car which transported us super relentless, super friendly Yeury telling us the story of RD and giving us recommendations of places to eat and also buy souvenirs, we had a great time and it was a very excellent company, if I could put more than 5 stars I would, excellent and super recommended

Local Fun & Monkey Business - This tour was so much fun! Aribel & Yeury were wonderful with communication. This was a great way to connect with the locals & learn about the culture.

Great Tour with kids and Darwin as our Guide! - Darwin was an excellent guide! We had a 1 yr old, 2.5 yr, 25 yr old x 2, to 54 yr old x 2 in our group! He was always pleasant, smiling, answered questions, gave us information, and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. We had an air conditioned van. The squirrel monkeys were pleasant and fun! I recommend Darwin for sure!

Enjoyable ship excursion - This tour gave us a good overview of Porto Plata. Our guide, Yeury, was punctual, gave us some history of the town and threw in some fun facts. We were given enough time at all the stops. Highly recommend. RS

1/2 Day Monkey House and City Tour - This was, by far, the best excursion we did on our trip. We did the half day Monkey House and city tour. Junior was our drive and he was so kind, helpful, and friendly. The Monkey house was amazing! It was a highlight for all of us. We also enjoyed a visit to a chocolate factory. It was nice to have a clean, air conditioned vehicle and a capable driver to navigate the busy streets. If we are ever back in Puerto Plata, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with this company again!

Would do it again but there is definitely room for improvement. - Overall really fun. The monkey home was great but we were rushed off early because "your guide needs you, you have a ton more to see today" only to be taken to a gift shop with non-stop sales pitches and ended up waiting 30 min before we left when we could have stayed and had more fun with the monkeys. The city tour was good however locals at every stop begging for moniand getting board line aggressive when you say "no". This however was outside of the control of our guides so I do not hold it against them. Overall, I would do it again. 4/5.
