Excellent and authentic tour of Belén - I had a great experience visiting the Belén market and floating village with Kelwin. Within hours of booking, he messaged me on WhatsApp to confirm my booking -- which I made the day before the tour -- and provide additional details. Since it wasn't too hot on the morning of the tour, we decided to walk down the Malecón instead of taking a mototaxi (the walk to Belén only takes about 10-15 minutes from the Plaza Mayor). Along the way, Kelwin pointed out various historic buildings and gave me some background about Iquitos. Upon arriving in Belén, we visited the main market, followed by a boat tour of the village, then explored three more markets, including a "jungle pharmacy." Kelwin is from Belén, so he's thoroughly familiar with the area and knows many of the locals -- we even bumped into his nephew. I really enjoyed seeing a part of the world that most people never see. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone curious about Iquitos.

Genuine iquitos culture and animal sanctuaries - I had a brilliant whole day with Kelwin . Started off with the belen market, and floating city but as I arrived in summer season the river was low, it was still great and interesting. Kelvin very knowledgeable and I felt safe the whole time . He knows lots of people and is clearly respected. I had such a nice morning that I had some lunch and then continued my day with Kelwin on a 4 hour boat tour of amazon including animal sanctuaries . Finished off with a relaxing boat ride in the hammock back to centre of iquitos. Great value for money, friendly , honest , knowledgeable. Thank you for a great say . Highly recommend 👌

A visit to the Belen Market and River. - We had a great time with Kelwin. After taking a tuk tuk from our hotel to Belen Market, we walked while he pointed out interesting fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. It is was very crowded so it was great to have someone guide us through. After walking through different sections of the market, we took a boat up and down the river seeing some of the dwellings both on and above the river. Kelwin was very informative and made sure the pace was to our liking.

Super good - It was a super interesting tour of the nativity scene and the neighborhood. You get on the boat so you can also go deeper and see the floating neighborhood of whole nativity scene. He knows everyone and can help you with everything you need. It is super friendly and makes the tour super enjoyable, teaches you all the curiosities of the market and recommends the best positions to buy. It seems like the ideal tour.

Great experience - We had an amazing experience with Kelvin, he was really friendly and knowledgeable. He took us through Belen & the floating city and we really enjoyed the trip and learned quite a few things about Iquitos. We would definitely recommend the tour, the buzzing market was a great experience and the boat rise through Belen was also a nice experience.

Excellent market tour! - Kelwin was amazing! Excellent communication before the trip and was very accommodating to do a tour around my work schedule. Kelwin picked me up at my hotel and then we walked to the market, which was great because then I could learn some things about Iquitos and see things along the way ( although you can also do a tuk tuk ride if you prefer). We then hit the market—which was enormous! So many different kind of food stalls, including exotic ones. We then took a canoe tour along the waterway near the market and saw some of the floating houses. It was really interesting to see and hear about life along the water. Then we returned back to pass through the traditional medicine part of the market. I learned a lot! I highly recommend Kelwin! Do not hesitate to book a tour with him to the Belen market! He is fantastic!

Floating city and Marketplace - Amazing place to see. Just so different from what you see in the US. To experience things in countries like Peru that are not just touristy is the best!

Amazing and unexpected tour with Roy - The Bethlehem market and its flooded neighborhood has been one of the most unexpected and extraordinary experiences in Peru. The market has none of the markets we know. It was a shock to see the amount of frites, the fish and meat they feed on. Guide Roy gave us a personal visit, from which we were delighted. He is a very nice person and has lived there all his life, so he gave us all kinds of details and explanations of the place. Fully recommended!
