This half-day (4-hour) guided snowshoeing tour provides a glimpse into the beauty and distinctiveness of backcountry travel. The guide will tailor the tour to suit the group’s interests and preferences, ensuring a personalized and exceptional experience. All necessary snowshoeing gear will be provided. Throughout the tour, the guide will offer a selection of high-quality snacks for the group to enjoy during breaks. As the park’s backcountry is explored, participants will look for animal signs, interpreting tracks and unique habitats. The knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into snow science and winter ecology to enrich the experience. No prior experience is required to enjoy a day on snowshoes. The saying goes, “If you can walk, you can snowshoe.” These programs are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 7 participants.
