• Mount Sakurajima - Begin the day with a delightful ferry ride to Sakurajima, the stunning Volcano Island located just 20 minutes from the lively Kagoshima City. Enjoy a visit to the beach where you can dip your toes in the water, as it’s still a bit early for a full swim, or perhaps toss some floating rocks into the sea.

Continue the experience by soaking your feet in a hot spring-fed foot bath, offering views of the bay and a little shelter in case of too much sun or a bit of rain. The natural waters will relax your feet, and many believe in the health benefits of these natural hot springs!

• Tsukiyomi Shrine - Discover the 1300-year-old shrine, capturing breathtaking historical views and photos, along with stunning vistas of both the volcano and the bay and city. Guests love taking photos here, and our guide will discuss the volcano, the shrine, and explain why so many people still visit for blessings for family health and well-being.

• Tenmonkan - Travel by trolley through the historic Tenmonkan of Kagoshima, unless everyone prefers to walk and time allows. This area is bustling with endless shops, snacks, and activities. As we bring in local goods and people, we’ll arrive at the beautiful riverfront cherry blossom area. Along the picturesque river, there will be photo opportunities, discussions about hanami culture, and a chance to enjoy a walk through one of Kagoshima’s iconic cherry blossom spots.

• Kagoshima Chuo Station - After appreciating the cherry blossoms and riverwalk, indulge in a course featuring award-winning Kagoshima Wagyu. Did you know Kagoshima consistently surpasses Kobe Wagyu as the top-rated Wagyu in Japan? It’s true, and it’s included in this tour! A balanced set, plus dessert and tea or coffee, are included here.
