Upon arrival at Zziwa, enjoy an hour of on-foot rhino tracking. Afterward, travel to Masindi for a lunch break. Post-lunch, continue the journey to the booked accommodation in Murchison NP. *You may choose to go on a game drive first before heading to the accommodation, or proceed directly to check in and relax.
Discovering Murchison NP - Morning and Afternoon Game Drives/Safari.
Murchison Falls National Park - Today offers a full day of game viewing in the park. Murchison Falls NP is home to a variety of wildlife, including Buffalos, Jackson hartebeests, elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, and hyenas, among others. These animals roam the savannah grasslands, either grazing or hunting, creating a stunning landscape for game viewing. *To avoid a long return drive to the lodge, consider stopping at Red Chilli for a hot lunch. Afterward, continue with the second part of the game viewing. After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner and an overnight stay. #Optional (additional cost $32 per person): Consider a boat trip at 11 am upstream towards the falls, with an option to hike (extra $25 per person) to the top. Common sightings along the banks include hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Drive to the Top of the Falls. Transfer to Kibale Forest NP’s Edge.
Kibale National Park - After breakfast, drive to the top of the falls to fully appreciate the beauty and grandeur of Murchison Falls. From there, embark on a journey to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park for an overnight stay. The drive is long but offers breathtaking scenery, passing through villages, lush green countryside, and tea plantations typical of this region of Uganda. The stunning views will captivate you throughout the journey. Upon arrival, check in and relax. *Optional (additional cost): Consider a crater lakes excursion to enjoy the beauty of numerous small lakes surrounded by gentle hills and stunning views. Alternatively, simply relax at the facility.

The trip offers fascinating views of wildlife, including giant hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, as well as numerous bird species along the shores. *After the boat trip, choose to return to the lodge to rest or go for a brief late afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest, Return and Leisure Time.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post for a briefing on the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking. Then, enter the forest for an adventure and encounter. The rainforest’s beauty is breathtaking, with its dramatic, steeply forested landscape and dense vegetation, crisscrossed by animal trails for tourist access. The trek duration (4-8 hours) and terrain vary with the gorillas’ movements. Once a gorilla group is located, spend an hour in their presence. The time with these gentle giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation to rest after the trek. *Optional (additional cost): If you feel up to it, request your guide to arrange a community visit to learn about the local lifestyle or a short nature walk along one of the forest trails.
Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and Enjoy an Afternoon (Evening) Game Drive.
Lake Mburo National Park - After a relaxed breakfast, set off for Lake Mburo NP. This compact gem is conveniently located near the highway connecting Entebbe/Kampala to western Uganda’s parks. Although the smallest of Uganda’s savannah National Parks, it is home to numerous bird species and animals such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, and the elusive leopard. Upon arrival, check in and rest before heading out for a late afternoon-to-evening game drive to observe the park’s inhabitants. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. #Optional (additional cost $30 per person): Consider a night game drive to encounter nocturnal creatures, offering a rare sighting compared to daytime.
Morning Walking Safari in the Park. Return to Entebbe for Flight.
Uganda Equator - Enjoy an early breakfast and proceed for a morning park (bush) walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger-guide. This guided walk offers close encounters with zebras, giraffes, elands, topis, and other antelopes, as well as Cape buffalos.
