Pick up (at 7am) and Transfer to Murchison immediately. Visit the top of the falls and proceed to the reserved accommodation.

Murchison Falls National Park - The pick-up will be from either the hotel or Entebbe Airport upon arrival. The designated Professional English-speaking Tour Driver-guide will greet you and begin the journey to Murchison Falls NP. Highlights of this park include the thunderous rapids of the Murchison, the expansive plains of Uganda’s largest National Park where you can spot lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants among others. There will be a lunch stop in Masindi before continuing into Murchison. Take a detour to visit the top of the falls to fully appreciate the beauty and grandeur of Murchison Falls, then proceed to the accommodation. Note: It is also possible to first enjoy a game drive in the park before heading to the accommodation.

Murchison Falls National Park - Rise early for an exciting wildlife viewing experience in the park. Murchison Falls NP is home to various wildlife species such as buffalo, Jackson hartebeests, elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, and hyenas, among others. These animals are spread across the savannah grasslands, either grazing or hunting. This makes the park’s landscape ideal for game viewing and driving. At around 10:30am, head to the boat area for a trip upstream towards the falls. Common sightings along the banks include hippos, crocodiles, and several bird species. After the boat trip, enjoy a hot lunch at Red Chilli. Following lunch, return for more game viewing. After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge to freshen up, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Another game drive and then continue to Budongo. Afternoon Chimpanzee tracking and overnight in Masindi.

Budongo Forest Chimpanzee Tracking - Start early for another sunrise game viewing until about 10am. After the game drive, head to Budongo Forest Reserve. Budongo is incredibly biodiverse, with 24 mammal species, over 360 birds, 289 butterflies, and 465 plants. It is also renowned for its primate population, including around 800 chimpanzees. Arrive in time for the briefing, then proceed to encounter humans’ closest relatives in the wild. Enjoy a guided primate walk in the lush tropical forest in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. Your guide will provide insights into the animals and plant species encountered along the way. After the trek, drive to Masindi and check in at the reserved facility.

Drive to Ziwa. Proceed for rhino tracking. Enjoy hot lunch and rest. At 3 or 4pm move out for the guided nature walk.

Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch - After breakfast, transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a successful conservation effort to save Uganda’s near-extinct rhino population. Visitors now have the chance to encounter rhinos thanks to this initiative. Upon arrival in Ziwa, proceed for an hour of on-foot rhino tracking. Afterward, head straight to the accommodation for lunch and some rest. Around 4pm, explore Ziwa on a guided nature walk. Walking through the Sanctuary offers a glimpse of the diverse and abundant wildlife that inhabit this area. Besides wildlife sightings, enjoy the pristine fresh air and stunning scenery, being close to nature. Return to the lodge for dinner afterward.

Move out for shoebill stork sighting excursion in Lugogo wetlands. Thereafter, transfer to Entebbe and fly out.

Entebbe Botanic Gardens - Rise early for the 6:00am shoebill trek and canoe ride through Lugogo swamp, with the chance to spot the prehistoric shoebill stork among other bird species, and witness the beautiful Ugandan sunrise over Lugogo Swamp. After this excursion, return to the facility and set off for the journey back to Entebbe, with drop-off at the airport or your chosen facility.
