Great Day Trip! - Irfan was a great driver and tourguide. He was able to tell us a lot about Sri Lanka and the people here. We felt comfortable and he was open to adjust the plan to our wishes. We would recommend him!

Amaizing experience with our driver and guide Mr Irfan outstanding job! - We have an amaizing experience with our guide and driver Irfan , who did his best giving us information about every visit culture and local life , in addition he did an extra mile with his time since our tour took longer time than expected .highly recommended!!

Just wonderful - That is definitely excellent quality. The initial route is already nice, but also Aaliya managers allowed us to adjust the program for us. Cars are spatial and with good a/c. Drivers are perfect, Mr Shukry was so good that we decided to travel to next points with Aaliya too. And our Kandy-Ella travel was more like a private tour: we visited all points of interest, that I sent to the manager. So even it seems costly to you: you pay for the quality.

So cool day!!! - One day travel from Kandy do Sigiria and National park with this Company was the best decition I made to visit this region! My driver - Ilham, was flexible, he listen to my needs, he is very kind and carring person! He cares about me as for a friend - not client! I have visited cool and interesting places around thanks to his recomendation - spieces factory ruled by goverment is must to visit if you have time on the way! For me it was a day I wanted to rest a bit so insted of hikking on the top of Lion Rock I had a massage in lovely spa! Anyway I so the Lion Rock from lovely view point! I also had afternoon Safari and it was incradeble expirence! I was able to watch so many elephants and unusuall situation when 2 of them was fighting - that was amazing - but the most important I felt safe as a solo traveler with Ilham! Besides he has nice personality he is also good and safe driver! Highly recomendation for company and Ilham!

Brilliant day out with an excellent guide - We had a great day our with the guide Ilham, he took us to Fambulla cave temple and Sigiyira, after this he arranged a trip to Minneriya national park where we got to see lots of elephants, including a 10 day old baby - he managed to arrange this right at the end of our day trip so we had a unforgettable experience. The driver was also good navigating the sri lankan roads and we felt comfortable and well cared for.

Very safe, very informative and the most fun time visiting all the attractions. 10/10 would recommend booking this tour. - This was my first solo trip and first trip to Srilanka. I had the best time from the beginning to the end of the tour. Mr. Shamin was the best driver and tour guide and I felt so safe. Unforgettable Day of Adventure - I would highly recommend Aaliya Tours for anyone wanting to do a day trip out of Kandy! We went on the Minneriya, Sigiriya, and Dambulla day tour in March 2025, with Irfan as our guide. Irfan went above and beyond our expectations for the tour, adding various other interesting stops on our way including a Hindu temple in Matale (Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil) and a medicinal plant garden. He also stopped to get us food at several locations, including tasty local snacks and fresh mango. Of the three main locations, our first stop was Dambulla cave temple. This was an incredible site primarily containing a massive amount of statues and murals depicting Gautama Buddha and his life, as well as a few other figures including a handful of Hindu deities. This site is over two thousand years old and still functions as an important site for Buddhists, many of whom we saw paying their respects. Our next stop was Sigiriya. The entire complex was astoundingly beautiful, and the pictures you see online truly cannot capture how it feels being there in person. The grounds around the actual rock plateau are very beautiful in their own right, featuring the remnants of gardens and pools built in a very impressive geometric fashion, and were very nice to walk around. The view of the rock from this area is incredible, and the way it rises up out of the trees is quite surreal. The hike to the top is very nice itself, and there are more ruins and several spots with wonderful views of the surrounding area that can be seen on the way up, as well as the enormous and impressive lion paws carved into the stone. At the summit, the foundations of the palace remain, along with some more pools. It was very nice to walk around, and also afforded amazing views of the entire region and surrounding mountains extending very far. After Sigiriya we made our way to Hurulu Eco Park, as Aaliya Tours had informed us in advance that we would not be able to see the elephants as Minneriya due to flooding. This had no negative impact on our experience, and the tour of the eco park was amazing, where we saw much Sri Lankan wildlife and beautiful scenery. Overall, this was a truly unforgettable adventure, and a highlight of our time in the Kandy region. Irfan is a wonderful guide, who is very friendly to talk with and extremely knowledgeable about all of the locations and sights along the way, as well as providing a smooth and comfortable driving experience for his passengers.
